Did the second hack with a removable strap. It helps if you loop in the strap in the buckle hook part of where you'll tuck it in so it won't look awkward.

For the first bag, when you open the bag, the chain will be in the way, and create markings on the inside of the bag as well.

What if the chain is one the outside of the bag
Yes needed because I am petite and the bag doesnt look proportionate
So it is better to buy a bag that is flat so that you can make it the first way because it is better than the second way
