Gotta ask , what's the performance hit with Phyx High vs Normal?
Because this game's Phyx is terribly optimised

I’ve only ever played it with everything turned as high as it goes and it holds 140fps in 4K, lol.
At least I think so anyway, it’s been a bit since I booted this up now. I recorded this when I first got my new rig just because I was shocked at how nice it looked.

@@xCarnageV1 huh , well I guess the 4090 is strong enough to pull through badly optimised game as well lol

@@lukky6648 It’s a beast, haha. The only game I’ve specifically seen PhysX issues was with Borderlands 2, it was causing the game to crash in 4K due to a vRAM bug that Gearbox never fixed from what I read. Turning the PhysX down seemed to fix it though.
Aside from that, this card has been able to run anything and everything I’ve thrown at it. I’m stoked to see how this thing runs Alan Wake 2, lol.

What’s traversal like? This game has an issue of crazy stutter and brief freezes when gliding to new areas as it saves and loads.

I never noticed any hitching or freezing when I played, but I’ve only ever played it on my 4090 so I don’t really have any frame of reference, lol.
It’s been a while since I booted this up but as far as I remember, it was perfect. I actually remember being surprised at how good it looked and ran for a 2013 game.

I'm also running it on a 4090 but it doesn't run perfectly. Stutters all over the place. Did it run flawlessly for you?

Yeah, everything I played ran pretty much like what you see in the clip. I use GeForce Experience and let it set recommended specs but I’m pretty sure it pumps everything and it runs like a dream.

If they added ray tracing to this game and Batmobile instead I think would sell really well on ps5

I was surprised at how well the game has aged, both graphically and in terms of gameplay. I never played it until I got my 4090 and I couldn’t believe how good it looked.
I’m not sure why they haven’t bothered remastering this, or at least included it with the Arkham collection.
