Thanks for the feedback! I found that graphic tool (Telemetry Overlay) because I wanted to restore the dimensions to the videos that the camera loses. The GoPro camera lens and image stabilization flatten and smooth everything, so the video loses the grades and lean angles that make motorcycling so enjoyable. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

There are 2 main designs taught in schools of city planning . One says to move as much traffic out of the way as fast as possible (these people often have timed lights to help traffic flow) the 2nd school teaches that it is safer when more people stop more often. People who believe in the 2nd school of design are insufferable.
i just did a 8000 mile full service on my trail yesterday and clutch and valves was perfect. that screen had very little on it. but my plug was full of crap. now i have to start looking for a new rear tire that will last more than 2800 miles but i dont line the stock size they to skinny and the 3.0 i think just takes to much power. so i would love to stay with the 2.75 but can only find them in the 241. i wish they made them in the 2.44. that would be the perfect tire for a trail.

I don't recommend riding fast highways with these 125cc mini-motos. These motorcycles are legal on all roads and highways in Texas, except for Interstate highways. The minimum displacement for legal Interstate use is 150 cc's, but I'd recommend at least 250 cc's for "comfort". Our rural highways in Texas frequently have speed limits of 70-75 mph, so the traffic is usually moving 85+ mph. I try to pick slower roads to avoid the inevitable crazy cagers flying up behind me at high speeds. 😉👍 --QM
That red tank in the center is a jerry can. It's one of only two "Neil tanks" in existence! I have one on my Cub, and a friend of mine, Adrian, has the other one. Our buddy, Neil, custom fabricated those tanks and mounting cradles for us before we left on our 10K-mile cross-country trip for the 2021 Scooter Cannonball Run. They hold about 1.3 gallons of fuel, but they aren't plumbed into the main fuel supply. We used them as emergency fuel supplies and as transfer tanks during our extended road trip. You can see it in action here: ruclips.net/video/NYjmV7FqLOM/видео.html . If you're really interested in obtaining one of those, Neil might be persuaded to fabricate a few more (he mentioned that he still has the forms and welding jigs for the project). Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

Hi Quasi i hope you are doing well. I am a fan from Wisconsin. I am getting my motorcycle license soon and i ahve been looking at the honda ADV 160, whats your thoughts on those?
Howdy, and thanks for watching! The Honda ADV150/160 scooters are amazing machines. We had dozens of riders on ADV150's participate in the Scooter Cannonball in 2021 & 2023, and they all performed flawlessly. The ADV160 has the newer 4-valve engine with a bit more power, and it has other improvements (e.g., lower/narrower seat height and a better LCD dash). I'm considering adding a new ADV160 to my stable in the near future. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

@robm5202 The flashing yellow light is the smart key indicator. Mine always started and I rode for a couple weeks with that yellow flashing light til I swapped the fob battery.

I completed 5000 miles on 2021 Honda Rebel 500 abs se. Thinking to upgrade to rebel 1100. What is your honest thoughts about this as a Rebel 1100 rider
That's a great question! My honest opinion is that the Rebel 1100 is a much more capable (but MUCH HEAVIER) machine than the Rebel 500. The Rebel 500 is lighter and more nimble for daily riding, and it's less intimidating overall to wrangle around town at lower speeds. The Rebel 1100 is a beast out on the highway comparison to the 500 with it's higher top speed, a TON more power (roughly 2x), and arguably sportier handling than the 500. However, the 1100's extra weight and heavier steering make it a bit more cumbersome around town in daily commuting chores. The 1100's fuel economy is also considerably lower than the 500, so that might factor into your budget if you're fuel/cost-conscious. Honda's 500 series engine is a magic unicorn that's hard to beat for efficiency and longevity My personal preference is the 1100 overall. However, that's because it's not my ONLY bike. I have many other steeds in my stable, including the CB500X and CB500F, that fill other commuting and mundane chores that might be annoying or cumbersome on the Rebel 1100. Good luck with your shopping, and I hope you find a good fit! 😉👍 --QM
