OMG! Lou at the end! Clutch! How did he know?
He’s played in a ton of campaigns with Brennan, and knows how he thinks/how his twists work. Also Brennan described the actual hall much more than the room they were in. The only object they had been given by anyone related to a witch was the scarf, and it also got more attention than other potentials before this scene. I think if Brennan had said they looked around the room and started to think it might be a divination sensor, or listed a few objects it could be Lou might have been thrown off.
Lou is clever and wise to Brennan's bs.
Brennan doesn't do just flavour, at least in D20. Everything's a hint. Brennan came in fully loaded with those scarves, they were prepared. They weren't improv.
So they're tied to something.

I love how early on during calm emotions Ame says, "Indri. Is uh, wind and stars she is....fine"
And cut ahead to the end of the episode and Indri is one of the lead conspirators to destroy Ame
Everyone talking about Lou's catch.
But I just gotta call out, this is some new game plus tier exposure therapy to panic attacks.

Yeah, it felt like Erika wanted Ame to struggle through her speech without arcana checks. Then when she did decide ask about what Grandma Ren had shared with her she forgot about the fact she should have rolled them straight.
Weird! I got over it almost instantly!
I feel you! However it seems it only effected one history check and even then she rolled well for that check despite the disadvantage. As for the insight check, that’s wisdom based so she wouldnt have gained anything from fox’s cunning. Sometimes despite forgotten information, as long as the flow of the game stays resolute then all is well.
Lou was only on air for a bit, but by God was it impactful every moment of it

OK, I kind of knew she was gonna be trouble from the beginning, but she started to make me think that oh no maybe she’s pretty cool. Especially when she wasn’t immediately like yes let’s kill the witch. But then no my earlier suspicions were confirmed.
