I love how the episode titles can pose a question to the listener just by being vague. Like, what's the staff, what does "there is an ocean vaster than this one" mean, or "the king of cups? I'm so excited to find out, my guess is that it's Suvi's staff cause it's literally been a point of interest throughout the past few episodes but now I'm wondering what's gonna happen? Will it break, will it be used to turn the tides against the wizards, and is Suvi going to get her real ring back, or a fake one, what could be done with Suvi's ring, which I'm pretty sure is connected to the well of magic The Citadel has stored up. And what's gonna happen with the music box?! I'm so excited to listen to this episode and I can't wait to find out what happens. I legitimately get so excited when I see that WBN has posted again and It always makes my day!
I first interpreted this title as like, "the staff of a workplace" so those who work in the ice palace we're in.
Which I found to be partially true! We met Tof! Who talks about works and jobs and what he does in the castle, they talk about Nif.
But also, we see Straw's staff (R.I.P to the Wizard Sippy Cup) be unveiled and the false plan of the citadel's seemingly foiled, as the Witches know about the contract to protect the citadel.
I just want to hug Ame. She’s gotta worry about which is trying to kill her while trying to be a barrier between her friends and those same witches. It’s a lot haha. Also my Indry opinion has changed haha.

If you're unnerved by stuff this tame, no offense, I really don't think D&D is a game that is tailored to your tastes unless it's homebrewed all the violence out of it.
Agreed, while I was okay with the scene, dropout does a fantastic job in providing content trigger warnings for scenes so people can avoid the topics. The fact that it's not included here feels very off. Maybe it has to do with Worlds Beyond Number being a different production team.
