    Woohoo! I just got a very nicely kept x380 Yoga, in 2023 for $200, and I have been absolutely loving it so far!

      @@pubgfever9725 It was on ebay, lightly used. I saw a few more on there for 175-235 with OS installed yesterday too. It's by far the best laptop I've ever had for under $500.

      I am gonna get mine today with 16 gig ram. How's yours working so far?

    • @Saved_Sinner0085
      @Saved_Sinner0085 Год назад +3

      @@Noor-li3vx fantastic! It's unfortunate the RAM is soldered to the motherboard but it's really the only minor complaint I have so far. I was literally gloating about how much I love this laptop pto a friend a few hours ago, it's a fantastic machine.

    Very honest and costumer orientated review! Keep it going! One question; How exactly is this different yo the Thinkpad X1 Yoga?

    • @Saved_Sinner0085
      @Saved_Sinner0085 Год назад

      The X1 is specced slightly higher and has a 14" display that can be up to 1440p, besides that they are almost the same.

    It’s not that expensive right now. You can customize it and create an account in Lenovo website to get a coupon. I got one with 1TB SSD 16GB RAM i7 professor for $1,576.
    The quality material and responsiveness is excellent.

    I use the 8GB model with a 256GB SSD and it is pretty on for my day to day work, it’s smooth and powerful.
    Lenovo keyboard is one of the best and someone like apple needs to take notes like seriously the MacBook keyboard sucks

      I agree that they keyboard feel and action are top tier, but do you have any issues with throttling/missed keystrokes? It's been a huge issue for me since purchasing.

    Would this ve a decent option for an engineering student in 2024? My budget is extremely modest. If not this one then which Thinkpad would you invest $300 or less in? Ill likely buy from ebay.

    Good review. To me the biggest disappointment is the display brightness. 400 Nits and I would snatch this up for drawing. So my search continues.

    • @bjtechnewshd

    Lenovo's products are usually good but I have never paid anything close to the prices they charge now. Who do they think they are competing against that they think they can get away with these prices?

    • @fpl_bailey

      phillyguy people still buy them because it's quality, tons of businesses line up to purchase their laptops in bulk for their employees.

      Thinkpad's tend to last a lot longer than standard laptops. 5 years+ is pretty standard. A lot better than a crappy Toshiba or something that often ends up in the trash after 12 months.

      The first Thinkpad I bought with my own money, over five years ago, an SL400 still works. Only trouble I have with it is what the power-on self-test says is a defective fan
