how grateful I am and I get high from lessons where everything is clear, the video is not at the speed of light, but at a normal pace, where you do not need to buy anything, where the author turns on a function that shows which keys he presses, thank you, just thank you and success in your work!
Enjoyed modelling along with this- small suggestion, once I'd modelling the first square button I array the whole 17 x 6 layout to get the spacing worked out then replaced with them with the other buttons/knobs as I went along
@@Nickel3D I'm excited to see it ! I have to say it is so helpful that even though you go at a good pace. You explain every command! Already learning a lot. Thank you!
Thank you for this ! Currently learning subd workflow and im very pleased to see some very good and simple explainations about what i used to find so difficult
Hey, just subbed for ya. Quick tip for the future - if you haven't already, request you enable your mouse keys for us to follow on. That way we know visually and audibly what you are doing! Nice work so far!
I noticed you didn't check the real world dimensions of the product. How do you know you are modeling to scale? What are the dimensions of the synthesizer?
For me, it’s a lot easier to just model at the “default” scale sometimes. The modifiers sometimes act nicer that way! At the end, I can scale everything to fit a dimension. But, other times I need the accuracy and I start from 100% real world scale. Think I’ll do that in the video coming out this weekend!
Are you using Ctrl+R? Try deleting your mesh for the speaker and starting again, you might have accidentally deleted a vertex or something that keeps it from making loop cuts due to losing proper edge flow

I downloaded it from the Teenage Engineering website for their product, here: teenage.engineering/products/op-1

Absolutely!! Other people said the same thing. probably quicker than what I did LOL
Hey, great video, I learned a thing or two! :) I'm just a little bit sad you skipped those small grip patterns on the knobs :/
I meant to do that part! I’ll add that in the next video, stayed tuned!

Hey i cant get loop cuts on my speaker mesh , can you please help me out?
Are you using Ctrl+R? Try deleting your mesh for the speaker and starting again, you might have accidentally deleted a vertex or something that keeps it from making loop cuts due to losing proper edge flow
Yes sir i am using CTRL + R , the loop cuts are showing on every-side of the mesh except the top faces@@Nickel3D
What i am following is to take a cube then do all the loop cuts and booleans then in the end do bevel
