Kayla, Thank you so much for your informative and easy to follow instructions. I have owned my Cricut Explore for at least 5 years and learned some new things today! I have a question about changing colors of an image. I wanted to have the same pattern of an Easter egg, duplicated 3 times, but wanted to change the colors of each egg. We used to be able to do that prior to the latest updates and now I am frustrated beyond all get out on how to do it. Can you help? Eternally thankful! JoJo

Thank you so much for all your helpful tips! I was really hoping the hack to search in My Projects would work, but it just brought me back to the canvas, asking me to "save" a project. So I'm guessing things may have changed since you posted this. It's a shame, because I have a lot of saved projects and it really is a pain to go through all of them to find the one I need. I'll keep trying though, maybe it will start working again.

I've seen on other RUclips videos that when they hit make it the image is black with a white line where the cricut will cut. My design space shows up just black where the cut lines are, is there a way to change this so it's more visible?

JoAnn Arizona you’re welcome!! I’m so glad they are helpful! Once you weld something you can’t unweld it :( I wish cricut would change that. You can click the undo button but if you close out of design space and go back into it you won’t be able to do that so I only weld if I know I for sure don’t what to change it. :)

I'm a newbie and have only done my test cut so far. I'm here trying to learn. I've only seen bits and pieces so far and have gotten a grasp on a few things. I noticed DS has changed since your video from 1 1/2 yrs ago. At 4:04 you upload an image and the right side gives choices of image type. That no longer is there, but with it, you mention an erase, crop and wand tool shown on the top. They are no longer there either. I'm wondering if they are elsewhere and I haven't found them yet or has this editing feature been totally taken away?
can in save the size of font so i can reuse it over and over. so when it pops up after i type it in its the same size i use previously

Hi. Quick question. How do I make my Design Space look like yours? I just started using mine and it doesn't have the top or side menu. It says settings at the bottom of my iPad but it doesn't have all of those options that others have. Can you help me to get the layout back to normal?
I need help with the Samantha Font. I downloaded it last night in my HP laptop. Ran by windows. I cannot get it to transfer over to Inkscape. When I right click I cant get it to sow the option "run as administrator." Which I don't get since I am the administrator.

1. I was wondering if you have paid attention to the fact that when the letters weld they will shift.
2. I want to write and I notice in a lot of the older videos "Write" is listed but I do not see it nor does it appear when I have downloaded writing fonts to use. ONLY CRICUT writing fonts.

Is it possible to change the order of projects on design space?

I'm new to cricut and I cant figure out how to choose sizes for items! like cake toppers, words or images for t shirts, stickers, vinyl etc any tips on that?
I found some helpful pins on Pinterest with size recommendations for tshirts. It went from baby onesies to adult tshirts.
Your canvas grid is different from mine. Mine has big squares, the numbers goes from 0- to 4, 4 to 8, I don’t see the other numbers in between.
Why is that?
The Design Space settings page it’s different too, in Units has Imperial and Metrics. Thank you for your videos.
When I open my design space with the icon on my windows computer it opens it without going through the internet, therefore I can not share my projects. Is there anyway to share projects directly with friends?

Thanks for this video. When I click on the info for layers, I am getting just random numbers and letters rather than the font name. Tried the same for different projects and got the same results. Any ideas on why? Thanks
If you welded your words to a shape, then the Image Info will show you the image number vs the font name.

Yes they were saved. Tried with a couple but my friend was not able to open.

Free to sign up and use, you can pay for their subscription to access addition fonts and designs though! (I just download free google fonts though)
Will someone please help me? I need to mirror/flip an image IN Design Space, not on the mat. I have seen info about Explore, where a person would click edit, then mirror. This is not available now for the canvas. I have a Maker, and have updated DS. So anyone willing to help is clear: I have an image that faces left. I need it to face right. There are words on both sides of it, so if I wait until I get to the cut mats to mirror, the words will also be mirrored. I want everything on one mat because it will be very difficult to line up the HTV if I cut on multiple mats.Everything I have found for the current DS instructs users to mirror the mat, not the actual image in design space. PLEASE HELP.
