I think it is a great update. I’m still learning how to do this so it is nice that it is easier or rather more user friendly. Than you so much for these tutorials.
Thanks for sharing Michael I forget to check the updates to see whats new so its great that you keep us up to date on cricuit. I appreciate your hard work you're awesome! Have a happy positive life
I've always learned so much from your tutorials and have used the "template" method. This DS update is a total "game changer"!! It saves so many steps. My Cricut crafting journey began with you and I look forward to seeing all the wonderful updates Cricut has planned in the future. Rome wasn't built in a day!
Thanks for the info on the new feature for Cricut. I've been very pleased that Cricut is finally making some long needed improvements. Keep up the good work!
Didn’t know about this yet. Thanks for sharing. Question , have you made the video yet on how to use left over sublimation paper waiting for that one. Thanks
Yes I saw that guides was new and hadn't yet tried it out, so thanks for the demo. Despite not having to send the guide to the back it does get in the way if it isn't as you have to select the object on the panel before you can change the size on the workspace. I think it would have been good if Cricut had, as part of the default action when changing something to a guide, that it moves it to the back, as mostly that's where I would be wanting a template to be. But it's nice to see Cricut making improvements.
This is such a wonderful addition to Design Space! I always spend a ton of time getting designs the right size and then have to hide my template. Looking forward to using this! Thank you!
Love the guides will come ín so handy. Thanks Michael. Most of the time on projects that are same colour. I use the shape to size once completed, I just make the shape just a bit bigger than design. I then make them both a light colour (so I can see). I then attach, so when it cuts, it cuts shape also. So I cut on the shape, when cutting design off the vinyl. I don't accidentally cut my design then. I sometimes cheat and weed the shape out first. Before I cut out off the vinyl.
I love quick super helpful videos like this from time to time… don’t get me wrong I also LOVE the over one hour 15 min challenge hot mess express! Lol 😂
I have been watching you for such a long time, and I always learn something new. Thank you so so much for all your patience and. I really love all your channel. 💜
Love this tutorial MCP! Thanks so much. Still waiting to see what to do with all my Sublimation Paper Scraps! LOL your the best! Also DIY Alex told me that when she did a Crazy Crafty Cruise that it was so restrictive that they only could bring a mini press on board (sad) sure would love to have it work out! Thanks again for all you do for us to learn our machines etc.
Glad I watched this :) Saw the update on Cricut page the other day, but didn't exactly understand it since it was just text. Now when I go do my dog tags using the template is going to be so much quicker! Should be able to do the guide when we do sticker sheets too?
Hi yes I love all the updates cricut is doing but when they update our print n cut to be able to print larger n sliceing when I put mulipal images together n flatten it and need to slice it it doesn't let me slice it cause it's only 2 images you can slice how can we design if we can't do that believe me if they update this everybody would be excited it would be all over u tube lol it would be a great hit for cricut no more using other apps for making print n cut bigger well thank you for all your great videos
Thank you for sharing Michael. I haven't seen this yet, even in my Cricut FB groups, so I'm glad you put up the video.
Thank You for explaining the new Feature in Cricut Design Space.
Cricut Step It Up With The Guides For Us The Crafty Community. 🤩🤩🤩
I use the guides to write myself notes about what I am making
I use it to add notes to my canvas. I simply change the text to a guide. Love it!!!
Agreed! This is a highly underrated feature 🙂
Now that seems like a useful idea!
Thanks for the suggestion.
I just noticed the new guidelines today. This video was super helpful! Thanks, Michael! 🤗

Life saver
I would like to see a project where you can cut out buildings for size “O” train set
I think its awesome... now they need to change print size
So 😎 cool
Think it will a good one if able to use for free but as always thank you
Does anyone know why I get charged to cut from Cricut when my design is free?
Great
I just checked and the guide is on the iOS version of design space.
✂
I thought it was the Monograms? There’s something else? 🤯
Yes ios has it
I’m lost. Too many things to follow.
I’m having issues with cutting my 11x17 from my illustrator SVG file, I cannot line up the cutter with my shapes 🥲🥲🥲
Great info, thanks as always!
Thank you
