He sounds like a Beautiful Person too. Just like you LD are. Amazing!❤
Thanks for the message. If you are following LD, chances are you have a drinking problem. Please dont compare Will's and LD's story to yours. We are all different .God bless all❤
Well said!
Thank you Kennith! You are right. We are all different. Hope you are having a great day!!! God bless ❤❤❤
@liverdisease-qb6rk , we are all different but in the same lifeboat.
I’m been through a very serious relapse. I’m still alive and I’m still going through the withdrawal but I will get through this. I’m sorry I’ve been gone.
Another great video, Will and L.D. Amazing story. I can't imagine a stay that long in the hospital either. I just subbed to Will's channel and will be delving into his stuff.
I just subscribed to Will yesterday, he said spread the word !!!
Ditto ❤ simply amazing
Thank you both
Will you have a new sub
Your smile is infectious
Thank you again
@@Kristen10-22 Thank you so much for subscribing!! Means SO much to me! God bless
@@TheWillpowerPodcast you got it
So blessed to come across your story
@@CraigFox-lt6lt Yeah. He just started the channel. Let's get him some subs!
Will, you are so young looking. It's hard to believe that you've had all of these major medical complications
Will makes,a great point, don't compare oneself to other heavy drinkers or substances, with seemingly no ill effects.
You're right. I am too young to have this happen to me. I hope my message gets to as many listeners as possible so they don't make the same mistakes I did!
@@CraigFox-lt6lt Thank you! You're absolutely right. Comparing ourselves to other doesn't do us any good whatsoever
You nailed it!!!
Hey mmoose! You are right. And it's beginning to become an epidemic now.... more and more younger people are ending up with this. Thank you for watching! God bless❤❤❤
Great points Will, not comparing oneself to Billy and Becky who might be big drinkers and seem to be unscathed healthwise.
It's great because it's true!!
LD handing Will the cookie jar
cant you see, Will all of sudden commending LD's videos for a small price
if you know what i mean
Will and LD I made it to another 10 day sober streak. Still only drank 2 days this month. I thought i would have died a year ago if I stopped.
Way to go!!
Kind of amazing right?
@RichardChips Great job Richard 🌟
That's HUGE! Congrats on this giant milestone my friend
Hey Richard!!!! That's absolutely amazing my friend!!! Congratulations on 10 days!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 keep fighting the good fight my friend!!! We are all here for you and behind you my friend!!! God bless❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the videos bro❤
Wow! Absolutely loved listening to this podcast. Thank you so much for spreading the word and the advice you share. Such lovely guys.
I am in early sobriety, so these types of podcasts are a lifeline for me. Have subscribed to you both. Look forward to watching more of your videos.
Take care LD & Wil.x
Thank you so much Sammy!!! I really appreciate you subbing to will too!!!! Looking forward to talking to you more my friend!!! God bless❤❤❤
Amazing story, and so well told. Thank you so much for sharing. I am more than three months free of alcohol and my liver is doing great again. This channel is an enormous inspiration and has helped me stay on this healthy path. Looking forward to following you Will! Much love to you both ❤
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
Thank you clara and congratulations on 3 months!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 I know how hard it can be, you are doing great!!! God bless❤❤❤❤
Good interview. Unfortunately I missed the first 3.
I’m wide-awake here in the U.K (It’s 3.45am) as I have an MRCP of my kidney at 8.10am, and a drive to the hospital is involved. Then a rush-back for a doctor’s appointment.
Picking up on a couple of points…
I’ve never ‘done’ AA, but understand that finding a sponsor can be very hard.
Outside of AA, how/where and from whom do you find and get support? You can’t check into a free detox in the U.K, though recovery programs involving a detox do exist, but take a long time to arrange.
Also, everything stays on your medical record here! I don’t even know at what level someone would need a detox.
I live alone, and although hobbies/occupations are a good idea, I really struggle to find a passion. I am literally accountable to no one. So how/where do I find this accountability from?
I actually hate alcohol, for me it is/was a ‘habit’. At 56 feel I almost feel that it’s too late to ‘start again’.
I’d be interested to get feedback on the above.
Sorry if the above is a bit ‘jumbled’, I’m tired, so better drive slowly!
Love to all.
Adam x
It's NEVER too late!!! Trust me! I was in your shoes too!
@@TheWillpowerPodcast Thank you.
Hey adam! Sorry to hear that my friend. I hope that everything goes ok. There are many online groups that you can join. Just being here is a great option. Just being able to talk to like minded people and have some sort of "accountability " I think is important. I am not all that familiar with the groups that are out there, this is what I use as accountability. Everyone here. I couldn't let you guys down. I hope that answers your questions. Keep me posted on how you are doing my friend. God bless❤❤❤❤
This is a great series, thanks!

I can't imagine what all he's been thru ! I'm grateful he's telling his story . Maybe it can save someone else from going thru this . I think if you have to question if you're drinking to much you have your answer already !
YUP! SO TRUE!

Finding Gratitude is truly Huge
It sure is! It's such an important aspect of sobriety
Hey G so many good points that Will brought up. Watch the video. Thank you so much. My grandson's here his new autism therapist is coming tomorrow. Just wanted to let you guys know I'm still here I'm still listening.! Love you all thank you Will. You have helped me in my journey❤❤❤

@@liverdisease-qb6rk thank you G! And yes, you got doobies name right lol
A new generation of problem drinkers and fully addicted alcoholics are out there. You're both telling them to find a different path with your four part series. This has the power to possibly save hundreds if not thousands of lives if people listen and are open to change. One of you or both need to take your story on the road. Take your story far a wide. It can better our Country as a whole since alcohol is so widely accepted. Thanks SO much for your openness. It was inspiring for me even after 5 years of freedom. - Ryan in San Diego.
Thank you so much for saying that! I would love to do that! I am in the process of writing talking points for such an idea like that
Thank you for sharing your story!!!❤❤❤
❤❤❤
♥♥♥ RIGHT BACK TO YOU MY FRIEND!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I couldn’t agree more with the idea that being vulnerable and honest actually improves relationships you thought it would hurt. The day I opened up about my problem with my wife was like a new chapter in our marriage. I wish I had done that sooner.
You just nailed it my friend. Vulnerability is the first step in becoming your true authentic self.
That is so awesome to hear tjs! Absolutely amazing!!! It's so much better, when we can actually talk about how we are feeling, what we have been going through. It's so freeing!!! God bless❤❤❤❤
Blessings
Interesting interviews and thank you both. Here’s an honest question to you both… would either of you actually STOPPED drinking if not being put in a life or death situation like you both were? It’s an important question for me.
Thanks.👍
I believe so. I tried and tried and tried until my body just stopped. Don't make the same mistakes I did and get ahead of this thing before it's too late!!
Hey silvo! I don't think I would have. I really don't. I had to hit my rock bottom, which almost losing my life was.... to finally say enough is enough. I know that doesn't apply to everyone. That was just me. Thank you! God bless❤❤❤
Thank you Will and LD for sharing your stories, you both will be helping so many, much appreciated 💕

Amazing story, Will! Thanks for getting together with LD for this discussion, very well done! I am so grateful for this community because being part of it makes sobriety so much easier for me. I was blown away by the support from others in this community, including LD when I shared my recent relapse. I'm back on the road to recovery and I feel like if I didn't have the folks in this community and these videos, getting back on the wagon might have taken me a bit longer! Thanks and God bless! ❤

YOURE WECOME. AND THANK YOU!!!!
I am beyond late to this video, but I wanted to say thank you to both, Will, and LD for your message. This was a great conversation, and some really great advice at the end. You let people know what they can be expecting from sobriety in the best and most uncomfortable of ways. I can remember myself dealing with grief and just major anxiety when I quit. I was so used to just knocking myself out when I felt any big emotions. Well, here I was, sober, and sitting with two of them after losing my father and thinking to myself that I would give anything to just knock myself out. My sibling was with me, and I just turned to them and told them that. I was like..I really wouldn't be mad at you if you just clocked me upside the head. Just to knock me out for a bit! They actually laughed and said, same! Thar actually helped a lot. To hear that they wanted to escape their emotions as well. We laughed for a few minutes at the statement and then sat there feeling terrible together. I did a lot of that in the first few genuine months of sobriety! The first month from an outsider's perspective just looked like depression, I'm sure. A lot of dark rooms, movies watching me, junk food and hermitting. Lol but it did get better very quickly in the grand scheme of things. Anyways, I'm rambling! Thank you for all that you both do. ❤❤❤
That's so true. The grief and major anxiety. Ugh. That's why it's so important to be clear headed so we can process our emotions authentically and honestly. When alcohol gets involved...all bets are off. Thanks for watching our episode!!!
@TheWillpowerPodcast it was a pleasure. I hope it helps people! I'm confident that it will. 😊
I need help. I'm pregnant and cant quit drinking with an abusive husband I literally was about to divorce and no support from anyone (Sx asslt is how it happened) And isolation from family and friends is why I have no support. I have 5 kids, all school age. So youre telling me im to go to the ER with NO HELP, no money (financial abuse) and just "get help" and "find support". Whos watching my 5 kids all week while I do this. Never even had one day of help. Not happening!!! And now I have to either have an abortion which will make the alcohol addiction WORSE (not my first one, and is super traumatic, mightveven cause unaliving at this point - already have ptsd) or have a kid I cant take care of with a DBD. Stop making this sound easy. For some of us its literally impossible.
Will, the kids in your classroom are no doubt so lucky to have you as a mentor & role model; your integrity shines through so brilliantly and is Uplifting. **Both of you gentlemen are examples of so much good ---- and our capacities to Grow as human beings! The world needs your caring, and your wisdom.
Thank you for the great tip about exercise- and for explaining a little more about how this helps with our natural endorphins as well.
Great podcast guys. ❤
