Summary of episode : Rick makes a decision to go back to Atlanta to retrieve the bag of guns and save a man's life. Lori and Shane must deal with the surprising return of someone they thought was dead, which was also a surprise to Shane who has been having an affair with Lori. T-Dog saved the entire group. He saves Carol, and she goes on to save everyone at Terminus.
Swampy Bogard Merle's clap medication saved T-dog before he saved carol therefore Merle's infected genitalia is the reason the group survived terminus

Hey did everyone forgot about Glenn saving all of them. think about it if it wasn't for Glenn Rick wouldn't be alive therefore the escape plan would've never been made because of Merle being the new leader(and high lol). and if they do find a way home it won't be in time to save everyone back at camp who are being attacked by the zombie herd. But if they somehow make it they won't have enough firepower to stop the zombie herd since Rick's guns was never recovered. just think about that for a second.

Back when Walking dead was a badass show, still has its moments here and there but the 1st season will always be the best, it felt more like a movie than an actual tv show.

They definitely took inspiration from 28 Weeks/Days Later.
I loved seeing Shane's descent into madness. Beginning with this moment. When Lori tries to cut him out completely from her families lives. You could see it in his eyes and the sheer ferocity in which he beat Ed.

No other season can ever compare to the first. This show kicked ass during its first season. This moment STILL gives me chills. Going from Shane beating Ed to Daryl, T-Dog, Glenn, and Rick rushing to the roof to save Merle and finding only his hand is still there. Soooo good!!

i genuinely wonder if the majority of people commenting here actually consider this upload to be of acceptable quality. no fault to the uploader, even in best case scenario its youtube. but holy shit, im listening to this right now baffled at how butchered the song is because it sounds like im listening to it underneath 30 feet of plexiglass.
And as the days went on, civilization drifted farther and farther from being civil, the fall of civilization. The panic, the chaos, the fear, this song perfectly describes that. The way that people would loose there minds. Things have now changed, the world is dead, full of the undead. No more police, no more power, no more movies, no more driving with friends. It’s all in the past.
I always think of this as Shane's theme. It suits him...

I think they should do more of these types of songs for the new season of TWD.. I mean it was so damn quiet in Season 4.. half the time it was just plain out boring. They had some good soundtrack choices (and more frequent soundtrack) in Seasons 1-3 (3 had a lot)
They should play HMP TMPL, really cool vibe.

i remember the scene with this music, when Shane punches Ed to save Carol, Andrea and the others. it was awesome, this is my favorite song of the walking dead. Its so sad that almost everyone of that scene now is dead.

My favorite character is Shane, he was so tough, a good survivor, so sad that at the end he became crazy, now my favorite character is Abraham. cheers

Hearing this song at the end of that episode is what put the hook in me for this show. Haven't missed an episode since. I heard this and knew TWD would be something amazing.
this song reminds me of really quarantine, when my mom sat me down at night with my dad to watch this masterpiece of a show. i remember this always telling my parents not to skip the intro on the new seasons, and eating wheatans during the show. i miss the feeling of knowing the original cast as it was not knowing what was gonna happen to them

Ed Belocura Funny because they used a rendition of The Pulse theme on that scene. This music here would fit when Rick kills Pete at the safe zone which isn't too far off.
Well it's ironic how Rick is showing some similarities with Shane how he's acting with Jessie. He's clean cut again like in season 1, Shane beat the holy FUCK out of Ed with this music playing who also was an abuser. Using this music would be a fitting homage to tie in season one again.

I miss when this show was actually about zombies and not just about drama. Season 1 was the best tbh, Frank Darabont did a great job with it, such a shame they AMC got rid of him. He made The green mile, Shawshank redemption, and the mist, and he all he wanted was a bigger budget, but those greedy AMC fucks fired the creator of the best season. Such a shame.

Watching the walking dead makes me feel incredibly sad and shocked at how cruel people can become when pressured to survive.
If the zombie apocalypse happens, I doubt that i'll survive, being an artist, I would be a complete waste of space and resources, natural really, considering art only becomes important in a society which has all of its basic needs.
You just never know what you might be capable of in a situation like that. In The Walking Dead show I've seen some tough people die early in the series, Carol for example started out weak then turned into a leader.

Music like this sets such a great tone for the world. It made Season 1 stand out so much. not only from Seasons 4-10, but also from any other show on at the time..
I miss the times, where you could take the show seriously..
Now it's just seeing the familiar actors on screen doing some unrealistic superhero scenes, nobody would realistically be able to survive.
This song does have a similar theme with the one from 28 Days Later, but its emotion is way different. When in 28 Days Later it just feels like you're searching for somebody but you don't find them, and you start getting that this is not a nightmare but reality, here you feel like the tense of madness is growing slowly deep inside you. Then you feel like you need to roar. That's what gives me chills here, nice music. Definitely not a ripoff.

Reiss Oliver None of this would have happened at all. Merle and Daryl at some point in the show made their plan known to the viewers. They were with the Atlanta group to steal all their supplies but they were separated before their plan. They would have robbed them and left.
