Agreed. An incredible study of Character, Writing, Directing and Storytelling. This show is like Star Wars of Television. Can't wait for the Better Call Saul Spin-Off.
It's strange to see these characters, within the first season, they were normal, no abnormalities anywhere.. But by season 5, every character's lives were ruined. And Walter White, the man who ruined so many, he was ruined by drug making, it being the only thing he ever had in this world that made him feel as alive as he was throughout the show. He liked it. He was good at it.
He ruined himself. A man with a pathetic child ego who could have remained a co-founder of a huge company, who could live out a great life, got exactly what he deserved. Only in the end, his perverted ego, after crushing so many lives, won.
And yet, you could say he made the world better, before Breaking Bad, drug cartels, organized crime, and etc. essentially ruled South America, Mexico, and the southern US states. In just two years, he brought all of them down, including the good-for-nothing lawyer representing them, and the people trying to continue his criminal legacy. While there'll still be people trying to fill the power vacuum, it won't be anything like it was before the show.
I didn't think the video would get emotional, but seeing everyone whose lives were ruined by the Heisenberg campaign, all slowly blended together, to the music from one of the show's most built-up and emotional scenes... Honestly, it's pretty moving.
@@paulpaulington3907 He ruined the lives of those involved and some that weren't. Its also because of Walt that a huge gang of Nazi criminals is dead, all of which who were up to way more and way worse shit than just cooking meth and running a drug empire. Its also because of Walt that Saul Goodman is no longer active, because no matter how much everyone likes him or the fact that he has his own show, if it were still up to Saul? The best episode of Breaking Bad hands down. The rest are equally impressive, but in my view, this is the only episode where every scene was perfectly overwhelming to me and the end left me with chills.
With this Backround music, the breaking bad team kinda made gus' death emotional. Gus' whole drug empire coming down after 20 years to some random chemistry teacher :( (I feel bad for the guy).
To anyone who thinks Walt ruined Gus' empire. Walt's Ego wasn't the cause of the problems with Gus, He didn't want to "be the man", he was fine with cooking for Gus, he had no intention of becoming the boss, all he wanted was to cook peacefully for Gus until he gets enough money for his family. He was peacefully working for Gus until Jesse ruined everything by trying to kill Gus's dealers, he has to save him later even though that ruined his relationship with Gus. That was the cause of all problems, everything he did later was to protect himself or Jesse. He had to kill him at the end because Gus was going to murder Hank because of His investigation, and he told Walt that if he tries to interfere, he would kill his entire family. He was going to kill Walt to. He had to poison Brock to get Jesse back on his side to kill Gus. He gave him the right amount so he would survive, and was relieved when Jesse told him that he's going to make it. Now imagine if he didn't poison that child, Hank would've been murdered, probably even Walt's family, and Walt himself, even Jesse wasn't really safe. He does have a pretty big Ego, but it wasn't the problem here. If you rewatch Season 3, you'll see that Walt was satisfied with his Job, and didn't want to take Gus' place. Gus' downfall is on Jesse.
I love the screen with all breaking bad characters. It fits the theme so much. It's like if gus was getting betrayed by all of the cast and their faces was the last he saw
The further I get into the show, the truer Jesse's words get. At the beginning you want to deny it, but Walter White did indeed ruin the lives of everyone who ever dealt with him.

Well, Gus' cause was just as noble. His intention the whole time was to carry out revengeance against Hector and the rest of the cartel, and thinking about his partner the whole time.

Mike was right. They were smooth sailing after the death of don eladio and the cartel, they were on the verge of complete power, but Walt? His ego couldn't let it happen. He burned Gus' rising empire before it was truly complete.

@@aeh1846 iv just started dark and it's really great so I'll have to see which I love more I actually forst discovered this song on a tribute video to the walking dead, then I loved hearing it in breaking bad and even more so in dark
I now associate this song with Dark...didn't realize it until I was listening to it just now but not looking at the video. My head filled with the creepy opening montages of that show and not Gus Fring slowly walking into the nursing home to kill Hector.
Gus is Walter's alter ego. He had a friend, Max, who was killed by the cartel (namely Hector). Gus, like Walter, went from man to murderer. The ending of Gus's life showed that the same thing awaits White. This is the path of dehumanization and death. Although the motives were initially noble - caring for the family and revenge for his friend.
Gus Mike and their crew had everything running smoothly for years. Walter shows up and burns it down in months.

All: Dark
ME: BREAKING BAD
3:07 Best part
3:07 Gus Fring Death Walk
I'm still recovering from this show.
The same soundtrack in Dark netflix series
And my ringtone :D
"Wait Here"
Mike was right. They were smooth sailing after the death of don eladio and the cartel, they were on the verge of complete power, but Walt? His ego couldn't let it happen. He burned Gus' rising empire before it was truly complete.
After finishing watching Better Call Saul last season, I had to go thru Breaking Bad again. I totally forgot about that one. It was like the music was written literally for that particular scene.
I saw this serie three times its amazing
2:40
I loved Gus .. I wish that he never died
Honestly same but better call saul makes up for it a bit

What we know is a drop, what we don't know is an ocean
I remembered Breaking Bad every time that I heard this in Dark
Two good series
But Breaking Bad is more memorable
@@aeh1846 iv just started dark and it's really great so I'll have to see which I love more
I actually forst discovered this song on a tribute video to the walking dead, then I loved hearing it in breaking bad and even more so in dark
What we know is a drop of meth crystal, what we don't know is an ocean of money.
breaking bad, best drama series ever imo, or at least my favorite, only 2 episodes left :(
8 years ago this would've been emotional, but the images are now as meemable as Spongebob
Why this made me laugh 💀
Probably because of 3D Saul's appearance 💀
@@Fahad-bg4cj With The Better Call Saul Theme Music 💀
You may not be the hero people needed, but you were the hero I needed and that’s good enough
Although the motives were initially noble - caring for the family and revenge for his friend.
the slide show is actually real nice..
