My girlfriend of 3.5 years and I broke up yesterday. We both really hoped we‘d start loving each other again but what can I say.. That feeling didn‘t come back. Idk why I‘m writing this here. I guess this song just reminded me of the good times. Very beautiful rendition Matt!

Many people don't know what love is, and give up easily as soon as "it doesn't feel the same".. literally all relationships will feel that way at some point. Grass is not always greener on the other side. Same mentality that results in the high divorce rates we're seeing. People think they know what love is but in reality haven't yet learned how to love. Thinking that fairy tale you started out with is going to last you're fooling yourself. That's not love. But we all learn that eventually. It takes some longer than others. And the worst part is you can't control that in the person you've been seeing. You could have absolutely no problems with the relationship, then all of a sudden, they "don't feel the same way anymore." Could be months later, could be many years later, could be someone persuaded them. It sucks when it's only one person that feels that way. If it's both of you, then more power to you I guess. Just make sure you don't hurt anyone. Because you wouldn't want them to do it to you.
@@otallono I get your point and we‘ve talked about that a lot. We also knew when we got together that it wont feel the same after some time has passed, but we are still in our very early twenties and the last months we‘ve been fighting almost every time we’ve been together.
We could‘ve imagined a future together but trying to force it till that point just seemed wrong and also a like waste of time.
We don't love those ho's.

by far another great cover by a great artist❤️ my wife and I had this song as the first song we heard on our first date, and our first dance song at our wedding, it really was love at first sight, we got married in 2020 and are approaching our 3rd year of marriage, been together since 2016, thank you Matt for such an awesome rendition, still brings tears to my eyes in the best way ever🤘🏻❤️🔥
