Great! The trick with changing region is great. I'm in Denmark, and PC Maneger wasn't in the MS Store, so for a moment I where in the states and got PC Maneger. You're so right CCleaner WAS a good software, now it installs all kind of sh*t. Thanks!
Last time i ever did hdd maintenance was defragging way way back in land time forgot lol interesting addition , will give it a try! Thanks Mike and Kath 🐈👍
this is a pretty cool and actually helpful bit of software. I like it and at least as it is from Microsoft, it should be reasonable to assume it won't kill the system
Why? What did you find about it that made you stop? I’ve not had any issues with it plus the registry backup and cleaner is handy. And the uninstall tool has helped me out when the default windows one has failed
What’s the issue with ccleaner? Been using it for a decade with no issues. Plus it has the handy registry cleanup tool and the program removal tool removes stuff that windows default removal tool sometimes struggles with
I ditched CCleaner years ago when that problem arose. Since then I've been usung Glary Utilities which I feel is better by a country mile. I'm not a fan of MS apps (personal opinion)

Cleans 9 things only. CCleaner with ccenhance, it cleans 92 things (Based on the software e.g adobe) Example this does not clean drivers after being installed. Disk cleanup does not Ccleaner does. Example 1.4GB after installing AMD GFX drivers.
Given MS's record regarding telemetry and recent push into AI, I think it would be wise for those who don't want to be totally spied on to look elsewhere. While MS does offer top notch products and services, it seems to come at the expensive of personal privacy.
@@mikesunboxing OK, so if you don't need or want, one drive, the cloud, co-pilot, recall or ANY FORM OF AI, WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND? Do I legally buy a MS Windows 10Pro license and just downgrade it to Windows 7 or what?
yeah i'm not sure why that is, some other regions are also currently blocked as well. Hopefully this is helpful for those that want to use it in the effected areas
Great app, tried the beta ages ago, and it was nowhere near as good as this finished version is....this is one of the best apps from Microsoft I ever seen...it even does updates and driver updates👍
Hi, Mike. Thankfully Microsoft PC Manager doesn't work on Linux Mint, so no worries here. With Microsoft's attempt to force crap like BitLocker encryption, Copilot, and Recall onto the masses, I wouldn't trust them to walk my dog around the block.
@@mikesunboxing Only what comes with it. I'm very safety conscious when I'm online. No doggy websites, no downloading hacked software or anything. On Windows defender was all I ever used and I've never had a problem with malware.
Thanks Mike finally got my game i like back up Racing Gt racing was not avaible in UK,so i change region to USA and wow all working Good now, also i bought wheel and pedal from amazon cheaper one under £100 is awesome is look real car driving, even F1 much better,i have been play for 8 years with keyboard not really good wireless battery get hot and sometimes on middle of race doesn't responding, assetto corsa is amazing, soon i will buy Forza Horizon 4 or 5,or dirty rally 2.0,also granturismo for PC

Great video Mike. I was unaware that PC Manager was restricted in certain regions.

Thanks so much for the hint, Mike! I had no idea this existed. Very helpful. 😊
No problem!
Great video Mike & Kath..
Gave it a go, very simple and lightweight.
Glad you enjoyed it
*Nice app Mike!* I do a lot of video editing and this helps free up memory as I go, thanks!
Happy to help!
Nice one, thanks. I have w11 pro running now, and I must say it feels good. I never was a great fan of w10, but w11 looks and feels a lot better.
Great to hear!
Great! 👍 I quit using CCleaner years ago.
Same here!

well it is either microsoft or a third party, i think i might be tempted to trust MS more than the likes of piriform
CCleaner is my favorit. Must to mark important cookies that are not for deleted !!! PC manager can't do it !!
good point
Does it get rid of trackers?
Yes it works with windows defender
Brilliant. Is it only Windows 11? But that aside I know Microsoft can be a pain, but sometimes they just come up with gems like this.
It should work on 10 as well but I haven’t got any 10 machines to test with sorry

Nice to have a choice on who steals your info 😂

Program that suggest to use Microsoft programs instead of the programs you want to use, I say no thanks. Microsoft is pushing too mush.
