    I'd pay good money if someone would give these guys just a few very primitive tools and then see what they could build with them. Those tools being a shovel, wheelbarrow, hammer/ax, machete, and a trowel.

    I highly recommend you use a binding agent whether it is leaves or grass due to the deforming I see happening to the bricks as soon as you take them off

      Bush Ninja lime is but due to its property's it will crack and break due to rain and seeing them come off has the brick drooping down using straw or leaves will keep the material together even after heavy rains

    I wonder if soaking the split wood in water before notching out will help it? Also would it be better to process the material in to smaller bits before you add water, this would make for a smoother mix...

    Brother.. Explain the types of rock you are using and steps in your subtitles!

  • @ithulah
    @ithulah 6 лет назад +2

    I'm not sure about the mixture. What was the dark stuff you added? Soil? If so you needed a bunch of sand too. You also needed less water, the bricks were too sloppy. I'll be interested to see how they come out, and really interested to see what you do with them! I do wince every time I see you handling unslaked lime with such lack of care..... which happens a lot..... be careful...!

    • @IslandHermit
      @IslandHermit 6 лет назад +1

      The dark stuff was some kind of sedimentary rock. Looked like shale, but I'm not sure of that, nor of why he used that in particular.

    • @shexdensmore
      @shexdensmore 6 лет назад +2

      mayaknife thought it was coal

    • @IslandHermit
      @IslandHermit 6 лет назад +1

    • @ithulah
      @ithulah 6 лет назад +1

      mayaknife Nah I don't mean to the lime kiln, that was some sort of bitumous coal with some sort of mica? impurities.... You see better in the other video.... I meant to the brick concrete mix.

    • @mssarioglu
      @mssarioglu 6 лет назад +2

      I guess you mean the dark grey thing he adds the last into the mixture. I wonder that too and I guess it's a kind of sandy sediment he collects from the nearby water stream. But I just would love to make sure. He should add some explanation.

    i wouldn't mind seeing how to make dyes... mostly due to me being curious but also i think it'd help to colour coordinate tools or to make some colored stakes to identify what foods the you might have planted making it easier to remember should you end up planting more plants in the future... or even using the colored stakes to mark out where certain resources are...

    • @blackbway
      @blackbway 6 лет назад +1

      i know how to make a simple dye that we use to use to stain wooden floors back then. it's just red or dark colored wood chips or bark in water, boil add baking soda. i don't have a measurement, you would have to experiment to find what works for you.

    • @shexdensmore
