@@HDApex Viva! The weather really turned nice the past two days. And another gorgeous sunny morning today for fiesta day in Kalibo. I can’t wait to tear up some lechon! 😁 Thank you my brother. Take care and stay blessed.
@@BlessingsinAsia Good morning my friend. It’s such a blessing for me to be able to enjoy the festival again. So grateful for the 2nd chance in life. Thank you my friend. Take care and stay blessed.
I'm happy and very excited watching the festival a place where I grow up and finished school aklan college 😢 currently leaving in Sydney for 2 decades thanks for the videos 😊
Hi guys, this is what we've been waiting all year for and there wasn't a disappointed moment. The dancers with their costumes were beyond unique and spectacular and off course my favorite was the bands whose beat I found outstanding. If anyone were to ask me why to visit the Philippines, all i have to say is the Ati-Atihan Festival. I see you getting funky with your moves but where was Dazel and the kid because you'll would've been rocking it. Keep having fun my brother and we love you all.
@@horacesubayar794 Each year, Ati-Atihan continues to amaze me. Seems like it just getting better each year; more participants in the parade. The costumes keep getting better; with the prize money going up each year. 😁 I am with you my brother, I just enjoy the drumbeats of the festival. Ati-Atihan is definitely a must experience if you come to the Philippines. I can’t help myself; I have to get my groove on with the music. 😁 Dazel and Leana were still sleeping; this was an 8am parade. We are all going to the final day of the festival today though. It is fiesta day in Kalibo today. Residents of Kalibo open their homes today and serve people lechon (whole roast pig). We are all going to a fiesta lunch feast at our friend’s house and eat lechon. 😁 Take care our friends. We love you both.
@@barbt.9211 It’s a very happy and festive time in our province of Aklan. Dazel is feeling better. Just watching the parades; but not joining the “sadsad”. We will all go to Kalibo today for a fiesta lunch feast at our friend’s house. It is fiesta day in the town of Kalibo today.
@@Ryan-wi3ry We’ve been to the white beaches of Buruanga, Aklan. Nice secluded beaches; no crowds. We go to Tuburan Beach Resort and also to Hinugtan Beach in Buruanga Aklan. It’s rocky though once you get in the water; unlike in Boracay, nothing but white sand. Bring water shoes.
@ I’m heading there in March for a month. I’m going to check out naga city and Iriga and the beaches near there Rawis area first. I may come to Kalibo and your area if I have enough time. I’m not keen on being around a lot of tourists. I can speak Tagalog and would like to spend more time off the beaten path interacting with locals.
@@dazeltv1351 I haven’t seen any vlogs on the area and if you look at it on google maps the beaches are beautiful and there are many resorts. Good idea for a travel vlog for you. There are vlogs on the cities Naga and iriga but not on the Rawis area. Search Naga city Bicol and then the coastline down from there. Seems like a great area for a family to go.
Amazing and extremely vibrant.. so many smiling faces 😊

I love watching celebrations in the Philippines. It reminds me of here in the US 50 years ago. Unfortunately, that spirit here died.
