Hey I love your channel, thanks for posting. I installed an AMD Radeon r5 240 into a Thinkcentre M91. Everytime I install the GPU, i just get a black screen, even when I have two monitors plugged in; 1 display ported into GPU and the other VGA into my onboard. I even tried flashing the BIOS and disabled the GPU in the BIOS bootup options but still no bootup or display when the gpu is plugged in. Any idea why?

ThinkCentre M91p doesn't work with Radeon HD 7700 (high profile) for me. Though Radeon HD 3800 (low profile) works great. Seems problem is not in profile (low of high) but in version of Radeon HD. Read on other forums that it can accept 4xxx or 5xxx maximum. Also I saw on other videos that 5xxx is working.

I am not able to get it to work. No display comes up at all (Tried both DVI to monitor, as well as the DisplayPort to my HD TV.). No signal is detected on anything. I have 2 of these same computers, and tried it on both. The video card works, as I tested it on an old crappy dell. Am I missing something? Maybe something in the BIOS that I need to do before connecting the card?

I have this computer in a full desktop version. Motherboard is the same I believe. However when I install Windows 10 or windows 7 both 64. I get issues with sleep mode and hibernate. When I disable hibernate it shuts down and starts normally. However when the computer uses sleep it does not shut down and black screen and I have to let it sit before I am able to get it back up and running. I have worked with many older systems but this one has got me. Any input or advice. If mine is a system that is unique. Could it possibly be the cmos battery? I am stumped. I have seen the same systems refurbished with Windows 10 sold as refurbished. Any input from. Your experience would be helpful!

HI, yes you can install gtx 1060 will work and this motherboard is micro atx and you can install in different atx mid tower case to fit that gtx 1060 video card.
Since the HDD caddy is plastic and the 2 plastic clips that swivel (from the caddy into the HDD) don't appear to be on a hinge, I'm worried if I force the clip it will snap off. Also, the 2 pins on the clip look like it won't quite meet the 2 holes in the HDD, even if it does swivel. Any suggestions? BTW, my PC is a Lenovo M81 which I assume is similar enough to the info in this video.

Nvidia recommends 300 watt minimum for the gtx 1050 but if its running stable should be fine make sure he sets it into Power Save mode that might help with stability aswell. But to be safe I Personally would go on newegg and order a 300 or 350 watt tfx power supply with a gold rating.

I own an Lenovo M73 with I5-4570 and have a Geforce GTX 970 installed. It doesnt fit and it needs a power supply connection for graphics card. I dont have top panel on the machine and I use two power supplies. One with a.graphics card connector and the original power supply in the machine. Its a mess but it works.

Hi, I have the same pc but the tower version. Installed a HD7570 just like you, but unfortunately black screen appears when I turn it on. The card's fan is working, no beeps, just no screen. The bios video setting is pcie prioritized. Any tips? Thanks. I have win 10 x64.

Is there a extra sata port available so you can have a ssd as boot drive and a hdd as storage? Or do you need to remove the cd drive?
ThinkCentre M91p doesn't work with Radeon HD 7700 (high profile) for me. Though Radeon HD 3800 (low profile) works great.
Seems problem is not in profile (low of high) but in version of Radeon HD.
Read on other forums that it can accept 4xxx or 5xxx maximum.
Also I saw on other videos that 5xxx is working.

HI, yes you can install gtx 1060 will work and this motherboard is micro atx and you can install in different atx mid tower case to fit that gtx 1060 video card.

Mxkdi I have a custom case, not by Lenovo but I have a m91p Lenovo board in it
Since the HDD caddy is plastic and the 2 plastic clips that swivel (from the caddy into the HDD) don't appear to be on a hinge, I'm worried if I force the clip it will snap off. Also, the 2 pins on the clip look like it won't quite meet the 2 holes in the HDD, even if it does swivel. Any suggestions? BTW, my PC is a Lenovo M81 which I assume is similar enough to the info in this video.
i sucsesfully installed GTX 1050 low profile on my friends Thninkcentre M92P with i5 3470. Its working fine atm but im little bit concern about the 220/240w psu (im not sure). Is it fine or is it gonna explode? and if i need to change the psu which one would you recommend? thanks in advance :)
Zaki Jamalullail you have to get at least 400-500 watt of psu from what i know
Nvidia recommends 300 watt minimum for the gtx 1050 but if its running stable should be fine make sure he sets it into Power Save mode that might help with stability aswell. But to be safe I Personally would go on newegg and order a 300 or 350 watt tfx power supply with a gold rating.

I own an Lenovo M73 with I5-4570 and have a Geforce GTX 970 installed.
It doesnt fit and it needs a power supply connection for graphics card.
I dont have top panel on the machine and I use two power supplies. One with a.graphics card connector and the original power supply in the machine.
Its a mess but it works.
Hey I love your channel, thanks for posting. I installed an AMD Radeon r5 240 into a Thinkcentre M91. Everytime I install the GPU, i just get a black screen, even when I have two monitors plugged in; 1 display ported into GPU and the other VGA into my onboard. I even tried flashing the BIOS and disabled the GPU in the BIOS bootup options but still no bootup or display when the gpu is plugged in. Any idea why?
