What is your favorite part of Shelton?

I lived in Shelton from 1973 to 1995. I periodically revisited in the early 2000s, but haven't been back in awhile. I keep meaning to come back for a sentimental visit, maybe in a few years when I retire. Even back in my time there it was a great place growing up.

I went out with a girl years ago who's grandparents lived in Shelton. They were the cutest couple that I ever met, and I will never forget about them.

I went there in college! It’s so quaint! I’m from Texas and I still think of how magical it is!

@Rich Torres - thanks for the happy memories! Shelton has really grown in recent years. It still has a quaint feeling in some areas and more of a hustle-bustle in others. Love it there!

Can you do one for Newtown? Most Americans only know it for what happened at the school there. However, as you know, it is way more, right? You should do one for there.

    Drivable commute?

@ John Boccuzzi I assume you mean to NYC? Yes, very drivable. Depending on what time you leave it can fluctuate. If you go in very early (5 or 5:30am) it can be about a little over an hour. The later you leave the busier it will get so that can be up to 2.5 hours if you leave at the height of rush hour. Are you considering moving up to Shelton?
