Aw Julie, your sweet comment totally made my day! I love teaching people the basics because I feel like knowledge is power, but if no one shows us the basic foundations of things, then how are we supposed to know what to do or where to start. So I love making beginner videos! I'm so glad you liked my Dermaplaning video. I will be posting a lot more beginner tutorials these next couple of weeks, I hope you come back to watch them :) Robin
I just started doing this two weeks ago and was kind of fumbling my way through. I actually sliced a spot on my face because I wasn't holding the skin tight. This was great info. Thank you.
Hi Michelle, I am so glad it helped! It definitely took me a few times, but once I got it, I wished I had learned about it sooner 😊 I will be uploading a little more advanced Dermaplaning video soon, so once you feel confident with the beginner version, you can learn how to step it up a little. Thanks for your kind response and for watching my video. I appreciate it. 😊Robin
Hi, your welcome, I hope you are being careful and loving your results.I also have an Advanced video on my channel if you feel like you are ready to step it up a little. :)
Hi Christine, ohh your so sweet. I know I was a bit chatty in that video but it really is meant for the total beginner. I hope you feel confident enough to give it a try :)
I just actually purchased one of these tools and got home and took it out of the box and realized I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing when it comes to all things beauty lol and came straight to RUclips lol This is the second video I watched and also the last. You guided me perfectly and for that I thank you 👏❤
Hi Mel Mac, it does take a little time to get the hang of Dermaplaning but I love it so much, I wish I found it sooner :) I will admit I take a long time to get to the point in this video (I’m sorry) but I am redoing it, and this time I will show a beginner and advanced way to do it. I hope you come back and check out that video, it’s coming soon :) I’m so glad your here!

Hi Ameerah, you are so kind, thank you for the sweet words. I’m so glad you like the video. I wish I had learned to do this years ago, it has made such a difference on my skin. I hope you have Great results too 😊
I always put the playback at a faster pace so the videos play quicker. And funny because you sound just like Marsha Brady. 😂 Thanks for the tutorial. Question. Does the hair come back in with a stubble? And I have super super dry skin. What kind of wash?
@@DianaMarie23051 hi Diana, oh no, I bet I sound funny 😂 I have never had the hair come back as a thicker hair stubble. I was concerned at first too, but my dermatologist said it wouldn’t and after many years of doing it, she’s right. It’s never come back thicker. Thank you for watching 😊
Would you recommend putting makeup ect on straight after doing it? On the box it says to wait 8 hours before putting anything on your face... do you think that includes moisturiser? Should I really go to bed just as is after? No moisturiser or serum .. anything? Also, should I be washing my face afterwards? Even just with plain water?
Hi Ashley, great "After" questions, and I didn't think about showing my after steps. So, the reason the box says to let your face rest for about 8 hours is because you have essentially scrapped the top layer of skin off your face allowing fresh skin to come through. That skin can be red and very sensitive. Here is what I recommend and what I do: First I rinse my face with water, then I use my spray toner to balance my skins pH, then I use a serum with Hyaluronic Acid, (I use the Timeless B5 Hydration serum) and then I use a gentle moisturizer. Thats it. Now, I will say, my products do sting a little bit but only for a few second. Again, because that fresh skin is now at the surface. But because I wiped my face with the alcohol swab, I need to get some moisture back into it. I would recommend you try doing it a few different ways to find what you like the best. Just be sure to wear your sunscreen daily :). Thank you so much for your question, and thank you for watching I truly appreciate it :) Robin
Hi, great question, I pretty much only scrap in the direction the hair goes, which is down. But you can go to the website where I learned and watch their video to learn their technique as well. That might help, and thank you for watching. The website is: www.estheticiantraining.biz

After dermaplaning will the white baby hair will turn to grow black in next time? I was searching for this question at the comment session but i couldn't find any :D
Hi Blerta, I have been dermaplaning for 10 years now, and it has never turned black. And my dermatologist says it will not. Your hair will come back the natural color it already is. It's the best thing I have ever done, I feel like it's the best exfoliation for my skin & I love it.
Watching her move that razor in ways "not to hold it" was making me feel kinda sick...lol but I have a thing with medical scalpals....I had a lot of surgeries and to me its the same feeling people get about shots or seeing blood. She was driving me crazy doing that.
Hi, yes I know the music plays, but I am just repeating myself, so I didn't say anything new. I have people tell me I repeat myself too many times. :) So when I was making the edits, I just dropped my voice and started the music. You didn't miss anything. :)
Hi Melissa, yes, such a great point. I really even think for young girls (older teens), who are feeling self conscious about certain hairs on their face. It really can be so helpful not just physically, but emotionally as well :) Obviously, with the help from a parent.
Hi, I am so sorry. Please know I was just repeating myself. I get mean comments from people telling me I talk too much or that I repeat myself too much. So when I was editing this video, I realized I was repeating myself. So I dropped my voice and started the music. I promise you already heard what I was saying. But I will be more aware of that next time. Thank you for your feedback and for watching. :)

Thank you so much for your question and for watching my video.
Hi Jennifer, I really am not messing hard at all. I truly believe you don't have to be aggressive to your skin in order to get good results. If you try it, you will see it doesn't take much pressure to get the hair off as well as a good exfoliation. I never push so hard that I could cut myself. Just be gentle and your skin will thank you :). Thank you for watching my video, I truly appreciate it :)

Hi Annie, this is not stupid at all. No, you don’t want to do your lips. They are too thin and you could easily cut yourself. If you want to exfoliate your lips, the best way to do that is to buy a sugar lip scrub and maybe do that once a week. Just be careful, because our lips are thin and sensitive.
