Amazons are wonderful birds. So smart, but they live so long. My heart breaks when I hear that there owner dies and they are alone. They start pulling feathers out because there human is gone. Please if you are thinking getting Amazon Adoped first there so many needs a loving home.

I'm 72 and not in the best of health. I adopt old and elderly cats from a no-kill shelter and care for them until they die (I have one now who is going into liver failure, so the vet says to get prepared). And I always make sure that the current one has a nice home to go to if it outlives me. :-)

This one however I sang you are my sunshine with Neo, and my bird came she took a peek and started dancing 😆 these little spirits(parrots) certainly are enriching , repairing broken hearts and souls one day at a time
