Where Karen Read trial stands after 3 weeks of witness testimony

- Jurors in the murder trial of Karen Read in Massachusetts continued to hear testimony Friday three weeks after the prosecution called their first witness to the stand. Read is accused of hitting her boyfriend with a car and leaving him to die in the show, but her lawyers say she's being framed. Penny Kmitt from CBS News Boston has the latest.

Fist fight or dog attack? Why did her friend Google using incorrect spelling hours before finding him? Dudes knuckles were not damaged to degree that they killed a trained officer? Why did she not take her own car when she went looking for him? Why did she call friends in wee hours instead of calling where she dropped him off? Too much doesn't add up?
I agree but to.add carry said t try would take her car because karen wasn't in good shape.to drive. However good point . I hope we learn the truth.
She did take her car but John's best friend Kerri Roberts and Jenn McCabe drove her to John's house to leave her car.
She called and texted John several times. Called his family and friends to ask if they'd seen John, and she was headed back to the bar because that's the last time she remembers seeing him, but Jenn McCabe told her that she saw Karen's car at the house the night before.
John was found outside Brian Albert's house and Karen Read didn't know him or his wife and didn't have their phone numbers.
Plenty adds up. Karen didn't know the people who lived in 34 Fairview (the house John O'Keefe got killed in) and didn't have a way to contact them directly. She barely knew Jen McCabe (the one who googled "how long to die in cold" at 2:27AM). However, Johns niece was friends with one of Jen McCabe's daughters, so Karen had the niece call Jen McCabe. John was friends with Kerri Roberts and her husband, so Karen got her involved thinking he might have gone there, even though they hadn't been at the bar or 34 Fairview with any of them. Karen went and got Jen McCabe and they met Kerri Roberts at Johns house, and then Kerri drove Jen and Karen back to 34 Fairview, which was the last place Karen saw John, being as she dropped him off there. Kerri offered to drive due to Karen being in a bad emotional state. This was all from between about 4:50AM and 6AM that morning.
Why did the "friend" Jen McCabe google "how long to die in cold" at 2:27AM. Probably because John O'Keefe was killed in the house, and Jen McCabe and everyone else involved were trying to figure out what to do with him. John O'Keefe was likely killed in a fist fight that also included the dog, as it would have been excited and trying to protect its owner/house.
I call this the, "who killed Colonel Mustard in the hall with the candlestick," case. Everything made perfect sense, even to Karen Read, until an incredible and bizarre outlier entered the picture: Aiden Kerney. The funny thing about him is that a lot of lawyers and legal analysts on television's ears were initially pricked up by him. That is until they looked into his background of hustling and harassing. The only thing different between this case and TB is its national attention. Emily D. Baker and Co. are swaying the justice system. Welcome to the new world.

What is clear in this case is the Albert's & McCabe's are involved in some way. That means reasonable doubt for this case and what should a not guilty verdict for Karen. We also have an officer that should have recused himself from the case but did not. From that alone this case should never have gone to trial.
Two personality Karen, one for trying to look like she cared for the kids to lost their parents and the other wondering why she had to raise someone else’s kids and complaining to another guy! Why just not leave? Why make these kids feel like they were a burden? How would you feel if you lost your parents? Just sad John isn’t there for them!

week 1 shes remorseful, saddened, in grief, but compassionate, as were her supporters. week 2 things began to become a bit more unhinged, impatient, bothered and bored, nervous and uncertain. week 3 has found desperation, frantic attempts to shift and deflect blame, refusal to cooperate and pushing for vindication, maybe even a celebration. witchcraft may or may not be in play, and her victims family is owed more.
