I would love to join in all your fun- so jealous! 😆 I made cloth dolls & porcelain dolls when I was younger. I have some antique dolls, but keep wanting more! I restrain myself from buying more, though! I wish I knew people around here who love dolls.
I use that exact glass cleaner around the home - I purchase it from Home Depot if anyone is looking for it. Haven’t tried it on mohair wigs yet, haha 😅
Can you make a tutorial or explain your method for cleaning the filthy antique wigs? Do you submerge the wig or spot clean it ? I’ve heard mixed things about shampooing doll wigs. I am a hairstylist but don’t know about how well the wig base would hold up to soaking. I have seen that some people have used solvent instead of water but I am unsure.
I have a "My Child" made by Mattel, 1985. Are you familiar with this baby doll? I bought one for my niece and gave it to her on her 3rd birthday. Now 35 years later my niece is married and now has two daughter's of her own. I still have the doll I gave my niece years ago. It's in excellent condition but the hair needs to washed and recombed into curls. Would you be able to repair my doll's hair? I want to hand it down to my niece's first daughter. I searched on the internet and found a refurbished "My Child " that is in excellent condition which I will be handing down to my nieces second daughter. Her girls are ages 5, and 3 yrs. old. These dolls will be played with. I'm sewing them some clothing for the dolls. If you cannot help me can you tell me where I can go to have the hair refurbished on the doll I bought 35 years ago? Your website is interesting.

Hi would like to know how to take the tangles off the mohair wig? And also smoke smell? And be able to restyle the mohair wig!!! Beautiful work!!
We lightly brush them and it takes a lot of time. There are some better tutorials on RUclips. Thank you for watching!
How hot is the curling iron?
Could this work on any type of hair or just mohair?
Please show how to use glass cleaner. Did you brush it out
Is this a mohair wig you are using a curling iron on? What is the glass cleaner used on?
I get barbie dolls from charity shops hair is matted not looked after I use warm lemon water makes any dolls hair shine and beautiful.uk
Lenor fabric conditioner
Steam curling tongs are so much better to use
Steam for sure.
Can I ask where you got the wig stand? I need a few of these to style my doll’s wigs. But, all I can find are human sized wig stands.
We bought it at a doll show. I bet you could find one through a beauty supply for human beauty students?
I was looking for the spray way glass cleaner, but the can said it was foaming. Is this what you have used, it was an aerosol.
I found this on Amazon!
I looked on Amazon but it all said foaming.....wonder if it has changed, they had it at Almaty also but foaming...
Do you clean first or comb the hair first? Does hair come out?
Clean first then comb and yes, hair definitely comes out. You have to be gentle. Thanks for watching!
@@RachelHoffmanDolls thank you
What kind of glass cleaner?

Why are in the doll business. She seems annoyed with you and your lack of knowledge
The only one that we’re annoyed with here is you. 😆
