Thumba chennagirutte nimma recipe. Almost how we make. Nimma ooru yavudo gottilla.
I don’t add coconut - gasagase with masala, but add it after opening the cooker. Then just get one boil and that’s it.
Another variation I learnt from a senior lady is to use dry copra instead of fresh coconut. In that case grind everything together and add to chicken and cook. That also tastes very nice. I usually follow this when I don’t have too much time.
We make bassaru also with natikoli. That goes very well with ottu shavige.
It is important to follow the steps you have shown before adding the masala correctly.
