I got FSD V12 this morning (Ontario). Just took it out for a test and it's the real deal. It's gone from driving like a 12yo first time driver to a 16 yo with a few months of driving experience. Colour me impressed.
I would buy FSD if it gave me a decrease in my car insurance for using it.

the perfect package would be … fsd and incentivized discounted tesla insurance!
I'm in Canada woke up this morning on my Birthday and the car had the update notice.. I have gone out three times so far running my usual test loop.. I can verify working alot better than version 11.

Picked up our M3 today, and they offered us (we took it) an FSD demo. We had an intervention that he expected making a left on a solid green.
First disengagement after 3weeks. It was a tough one, crossing a heavy traffic road.
In SW Florida this morning drove 40 miles on fsd no disengagements and no scary moments, on and off highway.
I think the self parking was fast enough. If it was faster, the anticipation for movements of other cars will be difficult I think.
Just got back from Tokyo. I went inside a Tesla showroom to see the new Model 3. It was sold out. So the growth narrative is way overblown.
I just bought a used 2022 model 3 from Tesla because they included FSD.
Everyone familiar with v12 should realize there is no competition from all car makers and autonomous.
12.3 works!

If I were a US automaker, I would be jumping on Tesla's software and FSD and advertise the fact their products have been equipped with it. Win win for both Tesla and the Big Three. I'm just saying 🤷. Regards
I have 2 common disengagements on 12.3
1) Map data is outdated and the cars picks the wrong route.
2) I plea the 5th... but lets just say it's an issue in the cabin, not outside.

For older people driving short distances only the time based option is too expensive.
Safety being part of the mission might move Tesla to supply such option too.

That would be the best solution. FSD priced per mile is the only real way to get the most benefit/cost.
So Far V12.3 is great, passed the wife test, though I do see some issues here and there that I would like to record. Does anybody know a good phone mount that i can place in between thed driver and the passenger seat so I can take good videos?

Brand image is built over decades. It’s worth billions.
Brand image is destroyed in a few weeks & very hard to fix.

Nice if you are right in the short term, but I am almost all in Tesla on the long term, just a bit left in savings to fund my retirement in case all your eggs in one Tesla basket fall out. But for all the clever people I follow on RUclips, like you, the others are amazingly bullish on Tesla in the long term.

I slightly disagree...I don't think Tesla needs to be the Cheapest, because of the "premium" quality of their cars.
But they do need to price competitively...
What I really meant was affordable and best value for money - which is what Toyota is for many people.

I dont get the point of FSD… what’s wrong with driving yourself? It’s not difficult. How many men drive the car rather than their wives on a trip? I guess if the car is crap to drive then you want someone else to drive it. I can see a market if FSD can drive me home from the pub…

Mainstream Wall Street will focus too much on the deliveries and not the mission that has changed, which they will be blind to. Deliveries will slow down due to the new FSD plans....

Being cheapest is not a good thing in the auto industry.
It’s terrible , cars are a status symbol, people’s image is tied up in their car.
Price cuts are a terrible idea. Brand management is key.

Tesla stock is being pumped here so others can offload their stock on to you.
In 2020 or 2021, Tesla shot up to $400+ as people thought that it is going to grow at 50%. 50%, as promised by Elon M. It is now $170+ because we know that Elon M can no longer keep the 50% growth promise.
By the way, if Tesla were to grow at 50%, it would need to sell 1.6 million cars last year (2023). It sold 1.8 million. But for this year, it will need to sell 2.4 million cars. And next year, it will need to sell 3.6 million cars. 2024 will be the year when Tesla is no longer growing at 50%!!!
There’s no point in arguing with Gary B. He’s as forward thinking as the Wall St w⚓️s ever get. He’s an ally, but he’s not quite “one of us”.
Gary is not your average Tesla fan.
He understands a little about business (not much).
Most Tesla fans are not business savvy & especially not marketing savvy.
You could follow Gary Black ETF.. wasting ur effort discriminating all retail investors out there… mm maybe that what the analyst think about us too
They need a fourth option with the FSD as well. Have a $180 to $190 monthly fee if you buy a full year.
