Every crash/collapse brings with it an equivalent market chance if you are early informed and equipped, I've seen folks amass up to $1m amid economy crisis, and even pull it off easily in favorable conditions. Unequivocally, the collapse is getting somebody somewhere rich.
I do not disagree, there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such execution are usually carried out by investment experts with experience since the 08' crash.
The issue is people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt. Ideally, advisors are reps for investing jobs, and at first-hand encounter, my portfolio has yielded over 300% since 2020 just after the pandemic to date.

@IFGuru for sure alhumdulilah I'm still following your advice from 5 years ago... before IFG, your advice was to invest long run on wahed (portfolio aggressive) and alhumdulilah I have been doing that since and I've currently had a 50% return! Plan is to keep doing this for the long term for either a nice early retirement... or if Allah takes me before that then there's something for family inshallah. Alhumdulilah all thanks to your advice!!! 😊
@spikeyt786 I got jack all from wahed and after 9 months I pulled out. Luckily got back what I put in. But after 9 months if theres no movement surely its not gonna go anywhere?
Hi Ibrahim thanks for insightful videos. Could you discuss perhaps which shariah compliant stocks are good with Hargreaves’s and landsown ? They have a few but how do you know which company to pick?
Salaam. I noticed a number of the Islamic ETFs have companies that are on the boycott list. Would it be impermissible to invest in such ETFs? So for example Johnson & Johnson is a holding (albeit only 2-3%) in most 'Islamic' ETFs.

As Muslims u still need to get money. It’s part of ur job as a man to provide and having more wealth then others isn’t a bad thing assuming u do good with this wealth. There’s no “limit” on amount of wealth ur allowed, just how u use it and if it distracts u from other obligations and worship. Yes, it shouldn’t be ur main goal at all, but it’s still permissible to earn a higher income.
Sadly, it is more difficult to get onto the platform since the latest rule changes. Maybe if you contact them directly, they could find a way to get you onboard.
You should’ve been clear about how compounding over time is not the same as compound *interest* You ended up praising interest and making the video’s intent not clear for a lot of people. Essentially he’s saying that there is a halal way to compound growth your money by getting around 7% increase annually + reinvesting x% to make sure that it grows much faster.
52 of the 86 Local Government Pension Scheme funds across England & Wales are invested in firms supplying weapons or systems to Israel with Bradford Council's West Yorkshire Pension Fund investing the most with more than £121m of staff wages invested into these companies
Why don’t you answer questions in the comments ? My question is isn’t interest haram? Do you have any video in your channel that answers this question?
I've been looking for places to park some money for the future. Nothing seems to be able to beat bitcoin of all things. Seems like the most halal option aswell.
They’re not giving interest. It’s ROI so there’s risks involved. It’s like buying £1000 worth of goods, and seeking it all for £1250. U made 25% profit and can put this £1250 back into goods and sell more. However unlike interest, this has risk, ur not guaranteed to sell everything so u might not actually make that £1250.
My brother, don’t be quick in saying something is halal or haram. This is Allahs religion so you don’t want to play about. It’s better to say “scholars have said it’s x or y”, u don’t want to place that type of burden on urself lol جزاك الله خيرا

I saw this video after seeing your memorizing Qur'an video. Why would anyone spend so much time memorizing the Qur'an if they were just going to wage war with Allah afterwards by playing the fake money game? I guess you should have spent a little more time trying to actually understand what you were memorizing. It's kind of funny, actually. So, you're reciting about your own doom for hours and hours on a daily basis. This proves what I always suspected, the hifz thing is a complete joke if one does not take the time to study Classical Arabic as well.

I would recommend reading the book, "The Evil of Craving for Wealth and Status" by ibn Rajab. Puts videos like this into perspective.
True, but desiring wealth to do good with it is perfectly permissible and even encouraged in hadith.
