    Why does she needs those Diesels in the back of the train? 1702 use to pull the train backwards in the past before Covid 19.

    50:22 that black dog wanted to bite my face off the last time I was in Whittier checking out the 711 and 777 when they had been repainted. I've tried to avoid Whittier ever since due to that dog.

      @baldwinloco12  2 года назад +1

      Yeah the dog concerned me so I stayed close to my vehicle in case it was a problem.

      I managed to confuse that dog when me and two friends were in Whittier waiting for the Polar run to come in and then leave.
      I stuck my head and the top half of my body out the right rear window of the car of the friend who drove us up and gave a simple greeting of either hello or hey and that dog looked SO confused for a second with a slight head tilt as if it had never had someone give it a friendly greeting before. It then decided to try and square up with my friends car as we tried to pull away and the friend in the front passenger seat was panicked that we were gonna hit the thing, all the while I’m just in the backseat dying of laughter.

      I have no clue what you mean, there is no music being played with the engine running, just the sound from the locomotive.

      He has the dates he filmed this in a caption before the start of a shot in the video, but to answer your question, he filmed this video on the 16th, the same day he filmed the 1702’s light run from Dillsboro and the same day Steam Z Productions, a mutual friend, and myself also chased the light run then rode the Jackson car on the Tuckaseegee run, as well as filming shots on the 18th.

    The two GSMR GP9s #777 and #711 were bought by MrBeast so he could crash them for a youtube video, now both units have been scrapped.

  • @Ian-qs3fz
    @Ian-qs3fz Год назад +3

    I gotta be honest, the long consists they put behind that little 2-8-0 look ridiculous especially since the locomotive is so small and is clearly unable to pull it unassisted. I wish they would do what tweetsie does and instead of having a long train clearly filled with pretentious rich people, to dedicate just ONE weekend of the year and do something for the railfans

    • @baldwinloco12
      @baldwinloco12  Год назад +3

      They got to make money to stay in business, having as many passengers as possible gives them the ability to run the steam locomotive. I do wish they would do a railfan weekend a year.
