- January is always quiet but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. There is still plenty that needs to be done so I will take advantage of that quiet time. It's the perfect time to have daily soaping marathons as well as catch up on admin work.

It's so important. I had to really explain to my husband how lucky I am to have his support. He didn't realise so many don't get the support from family and friends 🧡

🤣 my biggest problem is I can't sit still for long. I have to always be doing something, so take advantage of quiet customer time to catch up on all the other work. Hubby absolutely loved the surprise. He had no idea until I pulled into the carpark🧡
The attitude one is definitely my favourite it looks so beautiful blue and black are my two favourite colour combos

Hubby and I had such a lovely night for his birthday. Looking forward to our next day trip
For Christmas my mom and I mainly get each other things that we need. I got a new water pillow for Christmas...so nice to have one again.
It's nice when you can get what people need. For the last few years, there hasn't been much we have wanted or needed (that isn't expensive), so we decided to spend time and build memories. It definitely takes the pressure off finding presents 🎁
@@SoyandShea so very true. My mom just turned 78 and her health has not been the greatest in the past few years so making memories with her is important. I also have a 19 year old cat that I want to make memories with because I don't know how long I will have her.
Love watching your video's especially the vlogs, for me the longer the better. Beautiful soaps. You look sooo much happier. I'm determined to keep my business going as the alternative of going back to work is too much to think about. Running a business is not as easy as it looks and so many don't realise that when starting one.

I use whole oats ground up in my oatmeal milk and honey soap and it’s a nice smooth exfoliation.
Also I found the chia seeds had a light exfoliation 😊
That's what I'm really hoping for. 🧡

Loved your soaping marathon 😀 I hope the Currumbin Sanctuary was great, we visited them a few years ago and it was such a fun day. ☺
We had such a lovely time. I was trying to remember the last time I went and I'm sure I was still in Primary school 😆 I really like what they've done. It felt so peaceful walking through. The hospital tour was amazing and we learned a few things. In the rehab area they have everything from big red kangaroos to tadpoles.

You may not see this as I am late watching due to an attendance at a wedding. I really like putting Chia Seeds in my overnight breakfast jar and having them for breakfast. They are not raw, so if yours are, you may need to toast them slightly. But good stuff to eat if you have a lot to get thru.

I put the Chia seeds in overnight oats, in my smoothies and make them as chia pudding. I also made some biscuits with them but they just keep going 😆 so far the soap is looking great.

@@Terra_Momo Sorry for the late reply - the week got away from me but your order is on the way too you! At the time you joined the Pamper Club, I didn't have the automatic renewal available. As people's membership comes to the end of the year, I will send out an email and let you know and if you decide to rejoin, you can use the new yearly subscription and it will do it automatically for you unless you cancel it.

I have been using Chia Seeds for a few years now and never had any issues with them. I find they react the same way that poppy seeds do in soap. I am envious of you being able to have a soaping marathon - something I need to do, but with my back, not able to. Oh well, we will carry on. I ordered something from Eroma on 15th and order arrived on 17th of Jan. Such quick postage. They must've sorted it out, maybe they listened to you. X
😆 I highly doubt they listened 😆 it looks like they opened the Brisbane Shipping warehouse on that weekend. It definitely wasn't there on Friday when I checked. The rate they pack and send orders has never bothered me but to simple close down their two biggest warehouses without telling anyone was a bad decision. I underatand they needed to move the warehouses but poor communication with customers is every businesses downfall.

@@northernwinds. My mum has always worn fun earrings since I can remember. Though back then, it wasn't like the acrylic and clay ones we can get now. More of the silver and stones which I also have. I couldn't wear mine for years as I worked in a reservations department and the headsets would push the earrings making my ears sore. A few years ago, I found my stash of earrings and just started wearing them again and collecting more.

Here in Canada where i get my micas from they have a picture of it in cp or mp so you can tell if it morphs in either soap
I do check the pictures for our suppliers but so many things affect the colours. Everything from oil choice, fragrance and even temperature. Many suppliers don't say what oils they used. If it's 100% coconut, the colour will be different to one that also includes olive oil. One of my green colours sometimes morphs but other times doesn't. 🧡
Could you use the excess orange wrapping paper as alternate to your wriggly worms when shipping?
I love that name for the paper shred - wriggly worms 😆🧡 I have tried shredding them, but they just felt flat, so they don't provide cushioning and don't feel luxurious. Maybe I could use a paper punch and make confetti to sprinkle through them. 🧡
