If you think about it.. hearing the entities scream is scary itself.
The entities are already strong, so hearing them scream means there IS a higher force that can stop them.
And that force is Guiding Light.
but then there's the case of seek, figure, and a floor 2 entity which i will not spoil but they're just too strong to be banished

I'm pretty sure you have to use this at least once because I was playing with 2 of my friends and we were in a room with no closets and the room after or before didn't have closets so I had to use it(My friend in the back died)

If it was after the garden then the closets are hidden in the dark, since there is no lights there you may want to look back every time you open a door
