Hearing you describe your issues with your bite and eating... That has been me my entire life, even after fixed braces! My incisors don't meet. Part of my current orthodontic plan with invisalign is to fix that. In the mean time, molars and knives and forks are your friend!
Your teeth look AMAZING already!!! I cannot tell you just how much I needed this video! I am on tray 18 out of 20 on the top and 22 on the bottom. When I put in my trays this week, (I was changing at every 10 days and now every 7) I was super shocked to feel 4 larger larger sized buttons on the back of my top front teeth! Seriously, I removed my aligner just as fast as I put it on as I couldn't figure out if I had put it on backwards or?? HA! Then I started googling what these notches were- had invisalign made a mistake on my aligner? I just continue through the next 4 days trusting the process until I come to YOUR video! THANK YOU for discussing this!! I am beyond relived to know these are to help fix a deep bite! Here in the United States they are called an invisalign bridge. I wish my orthodontist would've discussed this with me to lessen the shock! Your teeth have come soooooooo far! They feel very odd along the way don't they?? I am at the point where i'm uncomfortable to eat anything that is not soft because of how loose my teeth feel at times! I can't wait to see more updates from your channel-I will be uploading all of my journey soon!

I just got invisalign yesterday for the first time. I wore braces in junior high & high school. I had perfect teeth and of course they moved! Here I am again trying to rope that crap back in 😆. I have watched lots of videos on this and yours resonated above most others. I get you girl! I think your dentist/orthodontist might hate you for all your questions and concerns but, you paid the money, so it's your every right to ask questions and have concerns! Keep doing you girl and I can't wait to see the outcome!
I have developed some gum recession too and it’s really worrying me! One good thing is that I have also developed facial dimples that I didn’t have before. They aren’t super noticeable, but I like them and that my face is changing shape a little- for the better.
After watching this, I’m freaking out! When you say that your bite is not the same in the back, it makes me nervous to get Invisalign. I don’t want straight teeth if I can’t bite or chew food. Please keep us updated about your bite! Thank you!
My bite was terrible for a few trays. I've finished all my initial trays now, but my bite didn't align properly on one side, so I was only chewing one side. I'm doing 10 extra trays (already paid for in comprehensive plan) to focus on my bite now. Aesthetically I'm happy with my teeth atm, but need a good bite! I'd say go for it, but pay for the comprehensive plan, not invisalign lite.
it has a great improovement...hope you could update us next and please show us a close up of youre upper teeth without wearing youre trays so we can see clearly the progress..
You don't have black triangles, you have spaces between your teeth above the gum line. Your gums look great, btw. I wish I had the amount of gum tissue you have, as I do have black triangles and major recession.
Can you sleep on your side with Invisalign. I currently am sleeping with temporary retainers (for teeth hitting each other at night) and I cannot for the life of me sleep on my side or they shift around or press in the wrong places. Please tell me once I get Invisalign, I can sleep on my side again 😢
I was super worried about sleeping too. I could sleep on my side. Or on my front with my head to the side. And clench A LOT. I was worried the pressure of sleeping like that would "fight against" the trays... but it was totally fine! Invisalign is super hardy, fits so snug, the trays are pretty thin. Theyre thinner than the lab-made retainers I've worn (2 different types I've had).
I do remember the first night or two I woke up in a panic with the weirdness of the trays in my mouth/the pain of the attachments. So I'd say take paracetamol before bed the first night would be a good idea!
