I'm seriously late here, but wow! Ben, it must be such a surreal experience to see one of your mentors performing something you created! You'll help keep his legacy alive through your own performances and that's a wonderful, beautiful fact! Eugene will always be present in our community. His teachings and influence will be felt long after we're all gone. I'm sure years down the line Ben, your works might inspire an aspiring magi who seeks esoteric knowledge 100 years from now. It truly is a humbling thought.
@@benblaumentalism6245 If I'm not around when you call, I'll gladly return the call. You don't know how great hearing that makes me feel. Thank you so much Ben and I look forward to the next time we speak. There's quite a few questions I have for you regarding your thinking behind some of the "tools" you utilize in Truth Fables and also some observations I've made from "reading between the lines". I hope the next time we talk, we both take something away from the conversation. I sincerely hope all is well. Talk to you soon!
Eugene Burger was a massively influential magician. If you’re just discovering him, you’re in for a true magical journey of learning. You must obtain his books. All of them. Start with “The Experience of Magic”. If you take magic seriously, it’ll change your life. I promise.

His voice is so calming to me
Yeah my brains tingling
The world's a darker place without this gentle magician.
This video is one of my go-to sleep aids. Of the 99,000 views about 400 are me lol
God I love his voice. Sad people like him and Ricky Jay with such calm voices for magic performances are gone

The best voice in magic, ever
“Excellent”
Met him once. A great, great man and performer.
Met him once, at TAM 2014. One of the highlights of my life.
He gave us some wonderful magic. RIP.
Thank you, Eugene, for the inspiration. Keeping it magical!!!
So sad he's gone. I'm so lucky to have seen him perform and meet him only weeks before he passed.
Why sad? Everyone has to die one day. Isn't it?
Eugene Burger was one of the best, especially in terms of his presentation and panache. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten!
I love this man!!!!
Sad that he is no longer in the world...
True. And yet these videos keep him alive :)
Oh no! First I had heard of his passing, how very sad but what a great man and legacy he leaves behind.
E X O T I C
...he's the man! RIP
I love the grin at the end. Like, "what else did you expect?" :)
That stare into the camera at the very end is legendary
Great video. Thank you.

Esoteric knowledge? Lmao
its NOT the priciple of the effect.....its all about presentation, excellent job.
Thank you for watching, and acknowledging what Eugene gave of himself to this routine.
Wish I found him earlier, i can't stop watching this.

Need a longer Eugene video
I think I understand how this trick is done but would never be able to do it myself. It's an amazing piece of skill to get it done right.
It’s very easy, in a technical sense.

The bob ross of magic
Can i learn this now?
It’s a commercial routine that I created. It’s for sale through me. It’s also published in “Final Secrets” by Lawrence Hass and Eugene Burger.
Impressive!
I want to learn this. How?

You can contact me privately, at ben@benblaumentalism.com.
His voice makes me clear my throat
That growling voice at the start though..
Cheeky Prickswitch
One of the many things for which he was famous.
Thought this was one of those unintentional ASMR videos
His voice is coming straight from the marianas trench
This is the voice I want to leqd me to the other side.
Didn't know that he died..😞
Cunning man.
He sounds like Jesse Ventura
🤣🤣🤣
A shuffle named after the tiger king himself. Interesting...
I recreated the whole trick with cards and got 1/5
Diego Morales
Learn the trick properly and get 5/5.

Wait I came for asmr but how the fuck did he do that
Eugene was one of the best close-up magicians in history. And even that is an understatement.
@benblaumentalism6245 did you see him live? I didn't and it sounds like I needed to.
He has the exact opposite energy of Juan Tamariz.
“The house of magic has many rooms.”

Eugene is so nice to watch. But with all due respect, thats way too much procedure for a trick.

Oh god, magicians try to sound so philosophical and intelligent when they're all such bull-crappers.
Many magicians would take that as a compliment. ♦️
@@benblaumentalism6245 haha you're probably right. Bob Cassidy comes to mind.
How many of Eugene’s books have you read?
