No, some kinds of artificial colors can in fact lead to health problems. Once in a while won't hurt anyone of course, but I wouldn't recommend anyone consume them on a daily basis. There's a reason Europe banned petroleum dyes in candy. And nowadays there are natural options for any color. (Correcting myself: they're not banned, they just come with warning labels)
