Thank you for sharing! 💜 Your microlocs look awesome! Reties build upper body strength and endurance! 😁😁 That's how I'm going to look at it. I haven't done a retie yet, but installing my microlocs was tiring for my arms. Still happy to have my microlocs though. No more wondering what I will do with my hair in the morning. And my EDGES AND SIDES are so thin from pulling my hair back. Hoping the braidlocs will allow a lot of growth and repair.

I try not to mess with mine and I think it helps alot. They were once very very thin. I'd rather my edges be full than to take them out cause I've been slicking them down too much or messing with them. 💜
@@SocialSymone I'm hoping I didnt do permanent damage. I never noticed how thin and damaged they were until i installed these braidlocs! I'm just going to leave my edges alone going forward. 💜😊

Very nice progress! Your videos always inspire me to loc. My goal is to do it in April. I want my hair to grow out a bit more

@@SocialSymone Microlocs! I want the flexibility to be able to maintain them myself. Also, my hair is on the fine side, so I think Microlocs will give me a fuller look without fear of the locs breaking off from being too thin like sisterlocs likely would
I feel you on all the above. I struggled with the same thing and The flexibility of diying is a plus. Only downside is if other people interlock the hair they get done way faster. I also see people get sisterlocks with thinner hair and years later the hair looks so full! I think both are great options.
