I never stopped wearing capris. I don't do shorts, but capris and ankle jeans are a good compromise when it's hot. Also, long shorts have always been my favorite. For back to school shopping back 20 years ago, I would always buy boys shorts because they were always nice and long. As I mentioned, nowadays I don't wear shorts, but I would probably stick with men's shorts if I bought some
Personally not into most of these, but YES to the gingham and cherry prints! Both are genuinely so cute!
And I'm not a ballet flats girlie but I really love the mary janes!
I remember VIVIDLY when the young kids said animal prints were an old lady thing…this is why I don’t get rid of stuff I like. 😂

I agree with you about the gingham, vets and Mary Janes! I have this very mini dress / tunic light green gingham that I'm so excited to wear in spring and summer! Same goes for my cotton vest that I looooove to wear as a longer sleeveless shirt.

For comfy wide width shoes I always get mine from Torrid! I finf they run a little big actually so I need to get a half size down but they have the absolute cutest shoes and everything they sell is wide width!

Just some feedback for this video, but if you could include more photos while you’re talking (instead of just on the title cards) so I can get more of a visual of what you’re picturing, that would be really helpful! You did this when you were talking about the peplum tops, but these would be great to have throughout. Especially in this case where the title cards had backgrounds with a lot of prints, I didn’t really have time to know what I was looking at before it moved to you talking.
Hope this doesn’t come across rude! I do enjoy these types of videos though 😊

As someone who was a teen in the era of the baby tee, I have always liked my tops (even band tees) "fitted". The biggest I generally buy is a ladies size large and I'm a solid size US16. Lately though, I'm obsessed with oversized tops! It goes against all the fashion "rules" I was raised on (big girls shouldn't wear big silhouettes...eyeroll) .
I'm tempted to even try a big top with my loose baggy jeans, and really give a middle finger to society

sonderhaus gingham pants are elite. They run slightly big and are 100% cotton with pockets and are super comfy! They are a pretty decent price point as well. Plus they are super long for the tall girls( I’m 5’3”) and I have to roll them and they are still long.

Carrie, you need to check out Woman Within. I get the catalog in the mail but you can definitely check them out online. They are a plus size 12W-44W clothing and they have flowy pants, gingham, capris…. Make sure you look into the way they do sizing, but I hope this helps. Thanks for sharing this video, it was fun.❤

I love almost everything you mentioned except for capri pants. They just never went with my body type, which is short with big thighs and skinny calves. Love them on other people, but for me, I'll stick to jorts lol.

Wow, I am first! ✌🏼 and ❤️ from Texas! I’m currently obsessed with hi-lo sweaters (although it’s getting too hot) with a midi/maxi skirt and sneakers, distressed ball caps with a crew neck sweater, and as always - a good band tee with a flannel 🤓

I like a lot of these trends. I wish the inspo pics on the title cards included more body diversity and plus size people. I feel like some of these might fall into the is it fashion or is she just skinny category. Not saying that doesn’t mean plus size people can’t wear it. But it’s hard to be inspired by fits when you don’t see anyone who looks like you wearing them.
Trust me - I’m right there with ya!! Pinterest has a new option to filter by body type, but it isn’t perfect yet. I hope that the more it’s around, the more it’ll improve!
Hmmm… why do the pictures need to come off Pinterest though? Personally I find the explore page on IG is way better for inspiration in pretty much every area.

I’m laughing at capris coming back. I am barely 5’ tall. I have always worn capris all year round. Sometimes capris fit my whole leg. 😂 If I buy regular pants even petite, they very rarely fit me. Everything is always dragging the ground 😂
