Throughout the twentieth century Oakley held an important role as Cincinnati's manufacturing center, and it just so happens that the largest producer of Star Wars merchandise was one of the manufacturers to call this neighborhood home. Unfortunately, the property has changed hands many times since Kenner owned it and so little is left but empty warehouse space and active security cameras. That is, with the exception of this eerily intact albeit decayed office space.
Creating videos is a new endeavor for me, my passion and skills lie primarily in photography: please visit my website (forgottenbeauty.wixsite.com/abandoned) for full albums of photos from these explorations and many more from all over the eastern United States.

When I was 19 I worked at kenner toys on Robertson ave. They also had a warehouse on highland ave and Teav was an RCA plant. Oakley has really changed. Crossroads Church used to be a Westinghouse Plant. Oakley Station was Cincinnati Milacron and Walmart was the original Ford Plant. There were a lot of good jobs and people could support their families. GM was in Norwood across from Surrey Square.
