Adam walks us through the installation of the offered Boost Pump harness, this harness is for the Sling TSi but could be adapted to other aircraft as well. This harness is not required, a connector will be provided with the base kit for those who wish to do the wiring themselves.

Does the original boost pump stay powered off forever? And, should it be removed from the system, since it is just another thing to leak if it is not being used?

Yes, remove the original boost pump from the aircraft all together. There will be a power wire for it on your harness, connect this to the power input in the retrofit harness.
