Thanks. All my cherry tomato varieties have now germinated too. Glad I didn't have to restart any.

It’s cool to see so many different varieties of the micro tomatoes and will be watching your grow of them though out the year . I bought a handful of different ones 2 years ago that I’ll be starting tomorrow my with a few regular tomatoes

Most people grow them in containers I think but last year I grew them in ground. They take up such little space and are fun.

I have had great success in removing seed shells when they remain clamped on the first two cotyledon leaves. I just spray the seed hull with water, enough to just wet it. Then you wait a minute and spray again. Then you carefully pull it off. To avoid damaging the plant, it is best to hold the leaves when pulling off the hull.

Good tips. Mine ended up working themselves out eventually without any intervention. I have helped some peppers out of their seed shells this year though.

Thank you. I planted a dwarf I bought from ebay called Aztec gold. I wonder if it is the same?

Not sure about your stance on GMOs, but you could try growing The Purple Tomato by Norfolk Healthy Produce. They closed sales for the year, but I'm sure you could source some if you're insterested. I personally find it facinating and will be growing them this year.

Yeah I've seen that tomato but not really too interested in trying it out. I'll be interested to see how it does for other people and if it tastes any good. :)
