The beavers only despawn if there's building around them. I've tried it in hidden lake and they make so many dams. Lile this to help Sl1p out!

You only need one beaver to make beaver dam, in my base there is a spawn point and every time only one or two beaver spawn and there is always dams there

+Sl1pg8r - Daily Stuff and Things If you move wild beavers to a base that exists in an area in which they do not spawn, they have a chance of despawning every time you load up the game. From what I've heard the creators are iffy on fixing this.

That was a ton of destruction. The rocket launcher is awesome, but C4 is the best for breaching. You can set off more than one at once. We just did an episode where we tested all the explosives on different materials. Good stuff, thanks for sharing!

What I think would be really cool is if next season, you guys split up into 2 big groups, and have a complete PvP server. Maybe finish up breeding stuff this season, so next season you don't have to worry about losing your super great Dino's. And just have a constant war, no hard feelings because the Dino's you tame won't be your best ones, and have 2 bases. Maybe have some secret bases to hide more powerful stuff. I think that'd be cool to see. Just a thought. The way it is right now is pretty cool too though.

Mastercraft compound bow is SUPER OP!!! With metal arrows, you can kill alphas with just about 5 or 7 shots! Probs even less

I've heard a rumor that if you place three tamed beavers, they too will create dams.
if you don't take the last bit from the dam will they refill it rather than recreate the whole thing?
Hey Sl1p, I've been having troubling with recording games with OBS. If you watch my videos, you can see ARK is very stuttery in the videos. I've been looking up all kinds of stuff to record fine with it over the past 4 months and I can't seem to get it to work well. I'm fairly certain you use OBS to record, and I would like to know if you can make a video showing how you have your OBS set up in the settings. If you will do this, thanks ahead of time man ^^ I've got a big recording planned with my friend FistyCuffs Gaming and I think you're the guy to go to to ask this.

It's still in early form so it's to be expected. I've seen finished games w as many glitches and frame rate issues.

The best example of how the best laid plans can go awry. Loved the latest vid though. THIS is more what PvP should be about, just straight up fun. Next time you make a disposable army, try staggering the following order so they're not all on top of each other. Can't wait to see the next PvP line up though.
Also, Giganatosaurus are not allowed for the Pooping Evolved PvP encounters guys. They made that agreement back in the first episode of the season. Taming for PvE defense is fine, but in PvP they're OP.

Hey Sl1pg8r! Fun tip for the rocket launcher. That last shot with the RPG, the one that breaks the Launcher, always fizzles out. It's a bug with the game. I would advise just not using the last shot in your RPGs if you don't want to waste lots of rockets :)
nice job sl1p...i,ve mentioned to XB when he had Z attack his base that its a shame the server is limited to only RUclipsrs, cuz i have an idea for a base that might stand up to most of the server combined... but ehh, what evvs....right now my comp isnt liking ARK anyways... overheating GPU... thats what i get for running on a laptop though...

I did extensive beaver testing, and it is true they need very specific ground to make dams, the hidden lake is the #1 best place for beaver dam farms. 55lat 30lon is also a decent location, but often the best place for beaver dam farms also make good base locations. Ah pvp shenanigans, good battle Sl1p ^_^

I don't think you should take the wood from the dam because it breaks it. The wood is what makes up the dam right? Maybe just take the loot and then leave the rest and then you'll have a more permanent dam. Not sure if I'm right but it'd be interesting to see

To get beaver dams faster just knock them out,log off, and log back in.You should have a dam. (BTW love you vids)
You have to be AFB (away from beaver) for at least 30min to a hour for the dams to spawn slip. Like not close to the area. Think the beavertopia is to close to your base.
Since you guys can adjust the spawn rates of dinos you should mess with it a bit like have 10x the number of Dodos for a week or if you want to try out defenses 5x the number of gigas for a day or two.

i think this video proves that you need a lot of dire wolves for your disposable army... xb's dire wolves were wrecking
launchers are good but the bullets will get destroyed if the autoturrets where on since they can let them pre-explode c4 deals more damage as well but you got to get close, grenades arent the best but you can throw them and they wont get destroyed by autoturrets. besides that gigas can bite through stone

Slip. In order to destroy a small gate you only have to use 4 grenades. Uses 1 c4 is super over kill. You used two... Keep up the vids I hope u read this.
