In ARK there Actually ARE those Beaver dams from the Preview and thy have Sillica perls, Cementing paste, Wood and other stuff in it! If you open them the Beaver will atttack you. The Dams spawn randomly ( for example in my Dino-pen in the Oasis in the north! Pleasee like so he sees it :)

Spulunker got pushed into the lava which has the same mechanics as water I guess so you fell off sl1p
Terror birds are super fun in caves; might be worth leveling one sometime. I leveled my perfect tame male a lot and he's at 1500% melee now. He's at the point where he can one shot packs of bats with ease. ^^ Only caves that I avoid are the ice cave (too small) and lava (pain in the butt, and if I miss a jump I'm screwed).
I use him a lot to grab the drops in carno cave since I can just glide right to them and he can kill the bats much more easily than my ptera.
Edit: Also, for future reference, i believe you can get your body out of lava with a grapple.
ohh btw you didnt glitched off spelunker. the bats pushed you so low that you hit the lava and just like with water you get knocked of your flyer.
Nooo sl1p Spelunker is simply under the map because u and him "died" to a glitch isnt it obvious
why am I not surprised that the new Dino died
cause sl1p's dumbass slowly gathered items to go back and didn't spin around when the Onyc's attacked and pushed him into the lava

welp that's ark for ya they'll glitch you out and make you lose everything
+Sl1pg8r On PVE official 370 I live on the north island, use the c mode attack and agro all the onyx fly up so they clump and just take your time barrel rolling through them, you take next to no damage and it clears faster. Hopes this clears anything up for you ^-^

Lesson learned to not leave birds on passive..
Also why would you not use the C attack more? It hits so much harder. Stamina you can recover easily. You also don't really take damage with the "blender" attack.
I think argentavis and pteranaon's should work like this: You use stamina to fly upwards, and then you can glide, and recover some stamina.
Slippy, get the Onyc aggroed into a big ball and then start barrel rolling them on your ptera, you will kill like 5-10 per barrel roll and just mow through the cave

I think something knocked splunker into the lava and when pteranodons go in water they kick you off, so that probobly happens with lava too.
Sl1pg8r you fell off of you're Pteradon because it hit the lava and dismounted you.
the trick with the quetzal platform still works beacuse drax did it with thatch celling and wooden foundation
The death message should've come up whether you were there or not because I've seen someone kill a trike of mine when I was offline and it came up in the log
Go into tribe management and look at the list on the left, it tells you what you've demolished, tamed, what or who has died and who has joined the tribe
Who built on the obelisk? Also, painting your giganto, to look like a panda would be cool. 😶
For future reference Sl1p you can use a grappling hook to pull your body out of the lava.
Pterandons will run away pretty far if they get hit on passive spelunker may be alive

Slip when you go into north cave just aggro all the bats at once and keep C spinning them while they are all together i have done it and i have watched DMAC do it aswell

556 melee damage, BASICALLY AN AMAZING ATTACK PTERA, screw that, I pllay on vanilla servers with 120 tame pteras with 3.6k hp 2k stam , 160 spd, and 1200 melee
Too bad you don't have more time to check out Dmac's vids. He carries Stimulant for his flyer, kites them back and forth until they bunch up nicely and then just C attacks them to shreds. Pretty awesome tried and tested method for the cave you glitch through. ;)
Edit: I really REALLY enjoyed the save Spelunker drama even with her unhappy ending. Big thumbs up!

Sl1p you need training TINY take care of TINY before the others dinos because You need some meele damage and Health because Its the reason why its hard on the other SMALL caves you cant take your STRONG dinos so? You gotta train Buddy

by the way, the lava is like "water" so as soon those onyc push u down so thought it, u where trow off.
And in the cave of the Skylord, it the artifact that lights up the cave(by the way if go in "K" mode and zoom out, u can see if the the supply drop is glich in the wall)
use more blender attacks it has a way better AOE
and uses a lot of stamina
dont forget about the barrel roll

but don't feel down, you can always reach out to the guys and make another battle pteranadon, just don't take them in the lava cave
if you do just be causes of the fact that they might get pushed in the lava

hy sl1p you probably know this but you have high level pteradon in the tower. I think it was called "from XB" that one might work as a replacement for spelunker.

I really love the way those artifacts look sl1p! I think maybe if you are also dead, it doesn't give you the death message, or maybe it is because you are out of the loading zone. either way, I have had the same problem, when some terrible disaster happens, and you die before your dino, and your dino dies too, you don't get the death message. such is the way of early release games

lol I was stuk in the 3rd cave (far north) in my Xbox 1 ark, I couldnt get out so I had t delete the ark :( besides I wantd to play with friends
BTC has the same base location as me. I even walked off that little inlet the same way he did. This was my first and go to base on ark. I thought about building a ramp up to the top like that to, but I decided it would be too much trouble so I just take flyers in between. Pretty cool to see like-minded base ideas though.

What happened to spulunker was not a glitch when the bats hit you their knock back effect pushed you into the lava and when any flyer is flown/knock back into lava or water you automatically unmount and the flyer flys up. The bats hit you so fast you had no time to react and you did by falling into the lava and spulunker was on passive and so could not fight back.
There is a pet/dino finding mod for ark. If you are in range, when activated it shines a bright light over where they are, even if glitched under the map. I found my first Pteredon that I had lost during the winter event after I got killed in the swamp and assumed him dead for over two months. He was still sitting there waiting for me.
Don't give up on Spelunker til she shows on the log... She is out there, maybe glitched into the world.. otherwise she will starve to death... she will show up in a few days in the log if you don't... #SaveSpelunker
Sl1p, maybe you could try those drops and find an Ascendant Torch Blueprint.

dimorphadon on your shoulder and a good pike....carry 2 out. a grappling hook realy helps ya get back out. do not drop down at the artifact. I couldn't get back up.
You keep standing from a crouch automatically because you have "always run" enabled

i had a pteredon with 10000 damage and 5000 hp but I have my own server so I put up how much everything goes up so like 1000 health or anything per level

but just think of this you make plat forms in the air and while your in air try to get it in I know its like the other ones but its way harder
I believe the second cave you went in is the only one where I know the entrance by heart... not sure if I said that right. And I only know where it is because a friend's base is nearby :P
It's also one of only two caves I've ever been in. And the other one I literally only went in with said friend as a guide to tame a dung beatle. And my bf went into the rest of the cave xP
i wass on a server (unofficial) whit dragons my Argy wass gonna in the same room as the Artifact (that cave whit lava) the Argy wass gone and i hear a big roar and my Argy Wasnt dead but a dragon wass in an other room and wass coming to me and then i fly away on my Pterodon but the Pterodon didnt make it :'(
I have had animals die while i was offline, they definitely show up in the log. Only time an animal will die and not show is if its been deleted by a glitch or the "destroymytarget" command so spelunker may have glitch died rather than been eaten.
poor spelunker!! Really love the house now!! Minor mods light the lights are great and i hope you will keep building!
