I think giving Yu a shadow of himself to overcome is SUCH a good idea. Not only is he the only member of the team that doesn't get a shadow in the game, but it also helps solidify the fact that he's his own character in this show, rather than a silent protagonist for you to control
The persona 3 movies made me cry a flood. Especially movie 2 and 4 so it’s definitely my favourites anime adaptation of persona.
P4 animation was super good aswell I love all the humour there. My favourite scene was Yu getting so mad he was about to throw namatame into the tv
it introduces Aigis a lot better + has the most BANGING song to go with it, i wish the full song was longer instead of a minute.

The P5 anime did give us something. A much cooler name for the protagonist.
And Ryuji nicknaming him Renren.
And also made the troll dialogue options like "I'm a dad" canon
If I had to guess, the reason why the Persona 5 animation is sloppy is probably because of P5's huge success and popularity. Persona 5 is THE current face of Atlus, the more media released with Jokers at a faster pace, the better.
p4 animation had some rough moments not the extent of 5's but there are some weird shots if looked at further inspection
I wish p3 had more popularity and p5 wasn’t the only face of persona, it’s such a good game and in my opinion I feel like it might be better than the other persona games. I’m a bit biased tho XD
@@lukito9341 you say that but p3 has received a lot of love for the past few years. p4 having endless spin-offs feel like a lifetime ago since that roughly ended a decade ago. but p1 and 2 are desperate for love specially 1 where royal borrows a lot of inspiration from either the game and the manga
@@nightwish1453came around the same time as Sword Art Online Alicization + the other projects Aniplex were doing at the time so they push the Persona 5 anime off to some other substudio and that’s the results we got.
The same studio that animated p5 animation animated p4 golden the animation and that was a failure aswell. Plus the vas had some good lines at least in the p5 animation you could tell they had fun reading them
I love the Persona 3-5 animes. The lore expansions are amazing!
The way they portrayed each Protagonist from Makoto's apathy to genuinely finding a reason to live. Yu's absolute chad persona and the fact he faces his own shadow. Ren being a goofy and serious teenager AND THE PHANTOM THIEVES EXPAND THEIR FRIENDSHIP LORE! And I just love the amount of screen time Akechi and Ren get together, especially since it tied to Yusuke's confidant.
disappointed that you didn't mention the best part of the golden anime which is the accomplice alternative ending

if we get persona 6 we might have to wait another half years for dlc and finally for another half years we might getting anime. and for another 10+ years we might no getting another persona sequel games.
I still have no idea how they screwed up P5's anime so badly. I know that the higher-ups demanded that Ren be as bland as possible to stay as close to a self-insert as possible, but even outside that terrible idea the rest of it was inexcusable. Even on a technical level, it was terrible.
