It’s crazy to look back and remember the chaos of early 2020. Thanks for keeping us laughing Jim. I can’t imagine how many people were were devastated by COVID and your content gave them a reason to smile ❤
I love Jim Gaffigan, first heard of him on a comedy radio channel in Denver. He is very funny, seems like a humble, kind hearted, sweet man. And there's no other comic like Mr. Gaffigan... He's an original. A national treasure...
I loved his 'hot pockets'!
He is certainly more humble than most RUclipsrs out there. He takes the time to read and respond to his comments a lot of the time. Not all that common for non famous people on RUclips.
Jim you should be a narrator, your voice is very relaxing, your sarcasm and quirkiness are the sprinkles and cherry on top.

I did not know this happened. I live in a low population state and thought this was a fake thing. I guess it's like Paris/plague olden days. . Too many people in close proximity. So sorry for you. It's over but yes I can better understand what happened. Thank you for that alone. But also your chronicles. God bless you.

I am not bored at all. I have started a couple of raised beds for growing some vegetables. I have some time practicing guitar. We have an elderly dog who we love. I made homemade biscuits today. We go for two walks every day. We keep up with cleaning house and doing laundry. Today I started watching Jim and his family on this channel. Thanks for putting smiles on my face, Jim.

Is it just me or could Jim become the next Andy Rooney with his sharing of his great life experiences....🤣😂🤣😂🤣
This video had an Andy Rooney moment, causing me to instantly think of Andy, but I forget now what it was but suspect it was only a phrase spoken a certain way. I do miss Andy and especially remember he said he didn't believe in God and so was fearful of what death meant for him. That's some raw honesty.

You and your family are so fortunate to have plenty to eat, a HUGE beautiful apartment and each other to get through this forced social isolation - together!
The fact you were able to equate your family to one of my favorite shows in the 80's, Alice, brings immense joy. Your channel is the gift that keeps on giving.
as a teen in the 80's, seeing the Alice clips pulled mighty hard on my nostalgia strings! loved that show.
Some of us in the Midwest farm communities aren't as affected by this because we social distance naturally, but I feel for you and especially your wife who is high risk. I love your comedy, and there isn't much of your work that I haven't seen. When this is over, I'd love to go to one of your shows if you get around Peoria Illinois or within a couple hundred miles. Hey, there, Chef Jim, and Steven: As far as we Californians should be concerned, I believe we TP hoarders may be confused. God forbid we experience the Big One; however, should we find ourselves pummeled by a 8.0 or so, the plumbing system might break down, pipes broken, no longer flowing to the water treatment facilities. If this occurs, we will not necessarily need more TP, but instead buckets, shovels, and a backyard for depositing. Perhaps the current TP hoarders are conflating various difficulties from different potential disasters. Just a thought.
I bet people are going to stop throwing tp and think of it as an essential part of a functional society.

@@johnmonk6342 I was puzzled by the fact that I couldn't get the paper plates I usually get. Those might disappear before a hurricane when people are worried about the water supply and being able to do dishes, but people sitting at home with perfectly good water shouldn't need them. I live in a car without running water, I don't know what their problem is.

Oh my gosh!! I sooo needed to laugh today! Jack Gaffigan as Flo had me rollin!!
Besides 6 days in the ICU, I have been in quarantine for 3 months Jim, me, hubby, 2 dogs, one cat to rule them all. We hung a bird house that we made from a dry gourd and 2 birds have moved in to it, Chickadees. We get a great deal of pleasure watching the pair fly in and out. I suspect they have babies in the gourd. I'm definitely in the high risk group, I'm not sure if I will ever feel safe from the virus but I hope to. I have enjoyed the peace of it, all in all.

Love your attitude man, you are a winner. Let gentleness prevail, your kids will remember this all their lives. Of course, from a different perspective . I think you and your brave wife have a terrific opportunity and are treating it with respect. And humour. I can relate somewhat, raised our 5 children pretty much on my own as my husband started a business, with about 2 red cents. Years later, we are reaping the rewards of sticking to it, and doing the best with the circumstances we were given. Blessings on you and yours, Judith

I love you Jim! You are my absolute favorite comic! Please keep posting videos! I'm going through menopause and you and your family are the only thing that doesn't make me want to pull out my hair. You give me a different perspective on how life could be for me. I could have 5 kids and stuck in a NYC apt but I don't. Luckily my 1 kid is grown and gone. I have a also don't live anywhere close to NYC and don't live in an apt. I'm very fortunate. Thank you again for your humor in this crazy time and giving me something to be grateful for lol!
