To start with... what a great teacher you are! I am so thankful for having you in my life as my teacher. So enjoy the little details that are shared in this video. Really the horizon being visible makes it still very real as if it is still a part of this world before the cross over to the other world. And between the two... Well, they are different parts of the story... one is about moving to that point of the cross over and the other one is considering the point now that he has arrived. They are both wonderful... great job and thanks for sharing ! )))
The both pictures are insane, the shadows, the lines on the floor and the smooth water...but the second picture is more enigmatic / mysterious!! One more time thank you so much for your video(s)!!
This is an ideal example of what we were talking about on Friday, finding something meaningful and metaphorical close to home. Nice job man. And looking forward to our chat again on Monday.
Mads I'm going to give these images several days or even weeks before picking a favorite. I want to see them over and over again. These are worth it. Phil
My heart was in my mouth when you walked away from the camera into shot. I imagined the bridge to be bouncy and the camera ending in the drink. Love both images but the second one IMO has the edge. Thanks, love your videos.
For me, I like the first image however I can’t help thinking it would be better without the horizon, whereas I think the second one is brilliant. Personally I feel once the water has been smoothed to that extend, image reality can take a back seat to creativity. Like you say, it’s haunting. 👏
I like the second image because, as you said, it does look more haunting. Also, based on what I can see on the small screen of my computer, I looks like you're walking away from the camera and leaving an ethereal trail behind you.
Unreal photo)) You breathe meaning into a seemingly ordinary plot. And yet, you feel and see an optical illusion. The lower right corner in the photo seems to be stretched downward, rechecked the horizontals and they are fine) Thank you, after watching yours videos I want to take a camera and go take pictures)))
I appreciate that you had an idea and concept for this long exposure beyond the minimalist idea. I like both final images with the first edging out for favorite. Thanks.
I prefer the first one, the composition is more minimalist but the second photo really gives a special touch of mystery and for that I have to say "well done"!! Very inspiring video!
Different approach of a landscape and I have to say that the result is wonderful. Especially the second photo is so ethereal, moody and mysterious, I liked it a lot.
I like both photos, and I think the horizon actually adds to the moody context. After looking hard and comparing both i was actually surprised to find that I like the second, "ghostly'' image even better. It just seems to capture an ethereal sense and mood.
Personally I prefer the first photo! Thank you for sharing your photographic experience with us! It's always nice to watch your videos and listen to your advice which is enriching! See you soon for new adventures!
I liked the first image more immediately because I understood the message right away. The second image took longer to sink in, but once it did it became my favorite.
Love it Mads ! The last picture is more ghostly and more my thing ..... but maybe the 2 pictures combined "2 ghosts finding each other on the infinite circle"
Always great to see new content from you, Mads! I'm always impressed and inspired by the amount of thought you put into a single photo, and it's a good reminder for me to stay on track and create what has meaning for me! :)
Second photo definitely wins for me Mads. In the first the person is quite small in the scenery, whereas in the second, the walking into eternity story is there. Water and sky the same colour, yes that would have an interesting effect. I can certainly see more photos coming from here at some time in the future. Thanks for sharing Mads. Always interesting.
Another very instructive video, tks! Either photo resonates for me. Glad to see the public respected your presence, undoubtedly due to your attitude that 'we wait for the scene to become available'. So many photographers egos don't leave space for the rest of humanity to enjoy the planet.
The second image is wonderful, you said "haunting" just as I was thinking it. And it describes the feeling perfectly. A fabulous edit really brings out that lost, haunted feeling.
Personally, I prefer the second image. I too think you should return to this spot when the weather is foggy and rainy, possibly using the 10 stop filter to smooth out the scene even more. Great video, Mads. I always enjoy your content very much.
WOW @6:37 Peter, fantastic work. Thank-you for sharing. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Just found your channel, I'm "liking" and "subscribing"
First shot for me Mads. Your eye travels around the bridge and stops at the person, almost like a full stop, then moves back along the bridge again to explore it in greater detail
they are both good and even before you indicated you were going with B/W, that is what I thought you should do. After looking at both a little more, I like the second shot.
MADS-- You are so incredibly talented and visionary of what you want long before you actually take the photo! I loved both photos and printing in Black & White was the proper choice. Randy B.
Hi Mads. Great video. There is actually a small spring of water nearby, when walking back from the bridge to the parking lot. That could be a nice long exposure as well.
it's definitely the second photo for me! much more emphasis on the person in the picture. in the first one for me the person is just an additional, extra piece of the picture, but on the second even though its the same view, the environment is "just there" to create the mood of the picture with person in it.
I like the first photo of you at the end of the bridge, the second one is good too but I find the image of you a little busy for my taste. I love that you chose black and white as well, its adds to the mystique of the picture.
Great photos! I was musing as to whether a shot with the camera up a fair bit higher would work. You could take the horizon line out of the shot completely. I love the minimalist bridge too without rails. I don't think we could build one like that here in Australia. All our officials would run around in circles screaming and then all their heads would fall off. :)
Excellent images and a great video as always. Hard to chose a favourite, second one maybe! Both stunning and would be marvellous big prints hung on the wall! All the best!
Man, I don’t know if I can say that I like one over the other but there’s something particularly captivating about the second shot.
Definitely the second image. Ghostly is the perfect description. I like it.
I can't choose one over the other. They're both incredible and they tell two different stories. Both stories are intriguing.
I like both of them. They each dig into your mind and pull out and emotion. The one you like will depend on your emotion at the time of viewing.
First image for me as the distance adds to the sense of isolation that the image conveys.
Very nice
My clear favourite is the ‘ghostly’ version of you. Love it.
I vote for the second shot, it has a soul....brings you inside the photo and make you walk over the bridge. Congrats!!
It’s the first one for me, love the way the leading line takes you to the subject which is then not pin sharp adding a mystery to the picture.

The first image for me Mads I like how your personage connects the sky and the sea as it is the only thing which crosses the horizon.
Number two for me. I liked the surreal look of it.
The second photo is the preffered photo! It's like someone's soul walking the path into the light.
Wow! Both photographs are gorgeous. But I definitely prefer the 2nd one. It is hauntingly beautiful!
Thank you so much, Ellen :)
I like the second image because it gives a real sense of mystery & creativity
I prefer the first image. Amazing shot and another awesome video. Thanks Mads.
I liked the first photo. I also didn't mind the horizon line either. I think it added to the composition.
They both have their own merits Mads and give a very different feel. Thanks for sharing
Just Wow! Pic #1 for me... The mystery of the one... is such a cool touch!
This is an ideal example of what we were talking about on Friday, finding something meaningful and metaphorical close to home. Nice job man. And looking forward to our chat again on Monday.
Thanks a lot, Alister! Looking forward to our chat! :)
Mads I'm going to give these images several days or even weeks before picking a favorite. I want to see them over and over again. These are worth it. Phil
Thank you very much, Phil, next video is Tuesday, new images to contemplate ;)
Second image for me! Your pose in the first one feels contrived, and the movement in the second adds mystery.
My heart was in my mouth when you walked away from the camera into shot. I imagined the bridge to be bouncy and the camera ending in the drink. Love both images but the second one IMO has the edge. Thanks, love your videos.
I like watching your videos which are very enlightening with good advice and tips. I prefer the the first photo with you on the extreme right.
For me, I like the first image however I can’t help thinking it would be better without the horizon, whereas I think the second one is brilliant. Personally I feel once the water has been smoothed to that extend, image reality can take a back seat to creativity. Like you say, it’s haunting. 👏
The auto generated english subtitles at 5:34 is just pure gold.
First image for me. The second is too haunting to hang up in a home. Thanks for your great films!
I like the second image because, as you said, it does look more haunting. Also, based on what I can see on the small screen of my computer, I looks like you're walking away from the camera and leaving an ethereal trail behind you.
Thanks for yet another inspiring video Mads. You are adding so much value into your videos that your channel have become my favorite channel now.
Unreal photo))
You breathe meaning into a seemingly ordinary plot.
And yet, you feel and see an optical illusion. The lower right corner in the photo seems to be stretched downward, rechecked the horizontals and they are fine)
Thank you, after watching yours videos I want to take a camera and go take pictures)))
Very nice image. The blurry subject really makes it ethereal. Great shot.
I appreciate that you had an idea and concept for this long exposure beyond the minimalist idea. I like both final images with the first edging out for favorite. Thanks.
Loved the second image!
Another banger, no color needee, keeping it simple. Love it!
second photo was the best, but both are awesome each conveys a different mood.
The second image has more mystery in my opinion. It looks like a very interesting location that has lots of potential Thanks for a great video.
I prefer the first one, the composition is more minimalist but the second photo really gives a special touch of mystery and for that I have to say "well done"!! Very inspiring video!
Utterly superb, great image concept, perfectly executed.
Love the last one!! Thank you for a beautiful video.
The first one is beautiful and more minimalist, but the second one is just great.
I was floored by this video! Thank you for sharing your gift with us! This video has helped me in so many ways....
So happy to hear that! :)
I prefer the second photo, perfect with the sounds background and pictures tells soul in motion.
I like the minimalistic approach.
Thanks Mads for inspireing me and others with great informatical videos. For me the first one was more WOW.
Like your video format and the way you present the subject.
Both are really great, but the second photo is my hands-down favourite. Like you said, it's haunting.
Haunting, to be sure. I like both concepts. Jury is out on which is "better". Rock on!
Personally I prefer the first photo!
Thank you for sharing your photographic experience with us!
It's always nice to watch your videos and listen to your advice which is enriching!
See you soon for new adventures!

very eerie and after life shots esp the second pne.
Great insights as usual. Both are beautiful images, I prefer the second for its more ethereal feel.
I have a hard time to decide between both. I think I would use them together side by side. Nice work. Love it.
Another very instructive video, tks! Either photo resonates for me. Glad to see the public respected your presence, undoubtedly due to your attitude that 'we wait for the scene to become available'. So many photographers egos don't leave space for the rest of humanity to enjoy the planet.
Luckily that's not my experience. My experience is photographers don't have space for other photographers :P
The second image is wonderful, you said "haunting" just as I was thinking it. And it describes the feeling perfectly. A fabulous edit really brings out that lost, haunted feeling.
I love the final one
I like the second version better. But the first picture is wonderful. The second picture is very mystical. Amazing pictures!
Very nice presentation. Lovely moody setting. I prefer the second image as more eerie and mysterious. Great emotional impact. Nice one.
Stupenda composizione 👏👏👏
Another wonderful video. Your videos are very well structured and are seamless. Keep inspiring
The first photo is deep and great
This shoot was so interesting! You got emotion on this one!
Thanks a lot, Ron!
The second one looks less staged und I like to imagine the figure (you) being a ghost. Love it, thanks for sharing!
Mads, I liked all your photos. If I had to choose one, I would select the first.
I like either one, hard for me to judge. This is well done, well made photograph and video.
Both images equally as good with a very different feel to each, beautiful photos and I appreciate the technical info. Thank you
Personally, I prefer the second image. I too think you should return to this spot when the weather is foggy and rainy, possibly using the 10 stop filter to smooth out the scene even more. Great video, Mads. I always enjoy your content very much.
Wow! Wonderful photos!
I really like the first main shot. Awesome 👌
WOW @6:37 Peter, fantastic work. Thank-you for sharing. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Just found your channel, I'm "liking" and "subscribing"
Thanks a lot, Rich, welcome aboard :)
First shot for me Mads. Your eye travels around the bridge and stops at the person, almost like a full stop, then moves back along the bridge again to explore it in greater detail
2nd Photo was amazing Mads. 'Bridging Eternal Dimensions'
This was so good!
Thank you for sharing.
Best wishes,
Steve
I like the second photo. Great work.😊
Both are good for different reasons. great video. thanks
they are both good and even before you indicated you were going with B/W, that is what I thought you should do. After looking at both a little more, I like the second shot.
MADS-- You are so incredibly talented and visionary of what you want long before you actually take the photo! I loved both photos and printing in Black & White was the proper choice. Randy B.
Thank you very much for the kind words, Randy :)
Awesome!!! Such emotion with the photos.
that was brilliant mads, loved the second image best as it gave a ghostly haunting appeal to it, very simple but very effective
The first photo is neat. Like it.
I like both shots but prefer the first one. Very cool.
Definitely the 1st one! I've seen my share of spooky movies I suppose 🙂
Very nice photo I love this sort of photography
Nice work, Mads! I prefer the second image. As you said, it’s haunting/ghostly.
Hi Mads. Great video. There is actually a small spring of water nearby, when walking back from the bridge to the parking lot. That could be a nice long exposure as well.
Love both of them!!!
Great vídeo and pictures. These are the kind of photos I'm working on.
Nice photos. I like the second the most! More mystic and it makes you wonder who/what is that figure, which direction is he walking and so on.
yes, i love the last pic...awesome
it's definitely the second photo for me! much more emphasis on the person in the picture. in the first one for me the person is just an additional, extra piece of the picture, but on the second even though its the same view, the environment is "just there" to create the mood of the picture with person in it.
I do like the second one more. The figure is more blurry and I think that makes the horizon look even sharper.
Same here in the UK.
Another great video. I have learned a lot about photography from your channel, so thank you again Mads!!! Your work is really brilliant!
Great outcomes. photo 1, but both are good. black and white good choice.
Excellent images and a great video as always. Hard to chose a favourite, second one maybe! Both stunning and would be marvellous big prints hung on the wall! All the best!
