I'm an animator. I appreciate the use of hand drawn 2D animation, and the references to things like exposure sheets and flipping animation paper by hand, but the stories and the humor are obviously very dated. 5 years after this Seinfeld first aired and changed the landscape of sitcom tv. This show feels old fashioned, where every episode has to have a good moral to learn. There is an untapped goldmine of comedy to be taken from life in an animation studio, but it needs to be edgy, this sanitized, safe, generic comedy doesn't capture the wacky characters that work in animation.

I love the concept of the show and the cast, but man, the writing is horrible. I can't believe this is an MTM production. A company that was known for producing many of the best TV series in the 70's & 80's.
