So I don't really understand how the persistent storage works. Can I have a 32GB USB separated into 16/16GB with Tails on Partion 1 and Free storage on Partition 2? Not even sure if USBs can be partitioned like disk drives, but I want to run Tails on 1 USB and also have access to the folder if I download something, and keep it remaining there for next session. Partition 1 doesn't need to change (can be 'fresh' every time). Could you explain how to proceed? Thanks!
Didn't tails always used to provide a direct upgrade path? Why no longer? Having to rely on another computer or even just a second thumb drive as an intermediary, introduces an extra vulnerability and vector of attack.
What do you mean? If you are talking about Tails on Android...Not tails, but you can install Orbot that will route any phone process or app through the Tor Network. You can also install the Android version of the Tor browser, which will be close. If you are talking about emulating an Android on Tails, it is theoretically possible because Waydroid exits, and I *think* tails might use Wayland...but there may be serious security implications involved in that.
Thanks for the overview on Tails, Qubes and Whonix. Your content rocks, Tom.

I will address this on a video early next week.
Can you do a tutorial??? On how to upgrade my tails my storage on to a new flash???
Will you be fingerprinted if you save some bookmarks?
You should not since the bookmarks are linked into your persistent drive.

It never across major versions, but usually minor versions.
I actually have a new topic for you, exploring the viability of Alternate networks (I'm talking DarkWeb plus GNU-Net)
& what can be done to improve
Can I download android on tails?
