Hey! I’ve got it on my playlist. Go to my Rayburn baits to throw series and it’s part 5 of that series! That’s awesome! That’s exactly why I made that series. I got so tired of lying locals, pros and pro staffers. I want everyone to do well. I’ll be chunking those baits in part 5 in the upcoming big bass splash in a couple of weeks! Hopefully I’ll catch a 10 pounder. Good fishing!
Brave man doing it by yourself. Im local to beaumont, let me know if you could ever tag along with me in my boat. Ive been wanting to go out there just not brave enough.
Hey bud! Yeah that sounds good. From now till New Years is when I have the most free time. Shoot me your contact info on Facebook or Instagram and we’ll set something up. It is pretty tricky at first. I had several fishing buddies that have taught me how to run out there and where is typically safe. I can definitely show you around. That marsh is so fun to fish.
Thanks bud! Welcome to the channel. This was my 1652! I loved the boat. I’ve now got a 2070. It’s huge but perfect for my family. I’ve got it loaded out with dual raptors, 10” hummingbirds at the console, bobs jackplate, garmin force trolling motor and later this summer I’ll have a livescope on it.
@lanceduff have you ever ran a 25 on that 1652? I'm looking at the marsh series LF model in 1652. I'm wondering if it's worth it. I just want it to plane out with a decent hunt load.
Nice! I fish both a lot. Keith has been kicking out some good fish! My new boat is in so hopefully I’ll get to pick it up this Friday and fishing with it next week! I’ve got a few new goodies to install this weekend 😁
I’ve got a Tohatsu 50HP in the 4 stroke. 3blade stainless steel 17 pitch. I did have a manual 4” jackplate on this rig but can’t remember how I set it. I wanna say 1” high. That’s awesome man! They’re great boats!
@@javery50 I got ya. I just put a 4 blade 19 pitch on my 2070. I’m still playing around with different props to see what happens. I’ve got two different props I like at the moment but I want to try a 21 pitch just to see what it does

Alwelds are such an underrated boat. They need more recognition.
Completely agree! I’m running a 2070 now. It fishes just as comfortable as my z521c Ranger.
Love the video Lance.
Thanks bud. Can’t wait to get the new aluminum on the water!
Lance when are you going to do the October best bait video for Sam Rayburn! It helped so much last year.

@@mchenryjeremy I personally wouldn’t go under 40 on that boat. The 50 felt perfect for it.
@lanceduff yeah I'm restricted by 25 horse for the refuges I hunt. Trying to run the biggest hull I can to get on plane with the 25
Is that near Sabine Pass?
It’s kinda close. This ditch is just north of Sabine lake but isn’t a far run from
Sabine lake. Maybe a 10 minute run at 30mph.
@@lanceduff I couldn't tell if you was near Keith's lake or sabine, I used to run those areas

What motor and prop are you running on this rig? Jackplate? Height? Performance? I have the same boat in a center console.

@@lanceduff my jack plate is 5” setback and I’m about 2” above deadrise. Power tech 14p. I’m still tweaking mine. 50 Yamaha 2 stroke
@@javery50 try a little higher pitch prop. I know that worked for me. Especially on my current AlWeld. I purchased a 2070 last year
@@lanceduff I’m trying to raise the wot rpm. I need a smaller prop. The power tech has a lot of rake
