thanks for the helpful video mate :) I was actually working out today what battery to upgrade to, almost went with zeee 1500mah, but went with ovonic 2200mah, all i had to do was get a xt60 to deans adaptor, and sand back the bottom of the battery clamp but 2.5mm. fits well.
Nice! I use my airsoft battery which is a, 1000 mah 11.1v 20C, and it makes my car way faster than the original battery. But it only lasts about 15 min.
Will this car fit battery with this size? 138 x 43 x 25 mm This is 2S, 50C, 4000mAh. I've got a quite good deal on this battery and it has very decent quality. Big thanks!
Hello. Have you tried Eachine 7.4V 3000mah RC Car Battery 30C Lipo Battery T Plug (size is 85mm long 34mm wide and 21mm high) Would that fit to battery slot?
Cool vid. Odd question, but could you tell me the height of the standard battery please? I realise it has 2 sections, a taller and shorter section. I just want to know the height of the shorter section. Ultimately Im trying to trying to establish what the tallest lipo is I can fit in the bateery bay. I know 21.5 fits but the battery Im looking at is 25mm, so its a close call.
Anyone have info on the MJX 14210? Should be delivered in next few days, anyone know the size of battery tray (area), I have some 2700mAh 50C Overlander batteries, hoping they will fit 🙂they are roughly 12cm x 4cm x 2.5cm
@Garys RC Channel nice! Thats good to know. I can't find the owners manual for My son's rc truck. You know of any sites I can download it. It's a hypergo h16bm
@@garysrcchannel5251 I can see now why people are asking for the link, because the battery you’re “suggesting” comes up as 104mm batt, not 85mm. Is it that hard to provide a link to the batt to your followers and fans? Wltoys 104001 is 104mmx35mm. 2200mah, on their official site. Not sure where you’re getting 85mm from.

@@aljibril7107 Couple of black zip ties will do it. And looks neat. I ended up using OVONIC 3S, 35C, 2200mah (got the cheaper ones, which required me to get T adapters, but they do have the right wiring harness that’s same size. And price is about the same too, considering I had to purchase adapters.) Remove the original strap bracket, and use the holes to insert a small zip tie (that fits) to create a small loop. Then use a bigger size zip tie to hold it down, using that loop and one of the three holes on the chassis across (middle one works best.) I was even able to slip the 3S out and replace with another, without cutting the large zip tie. And if I wanted to run my original 2S there, I just cut the large zip tie and replace it with another (have few with you, and something to cut it with.) It’s easier that way without reinstalling the bracket for original batteries, which will require you to cut BOTH zip ties’.

I modified the body on this car and gave it a Zeee 5200 mAh battery, looks a little ridiculous but it works very well.
That battery fits in everything perfect
Yes it does 👍💯🔥
Thanks for the info.

Not at all
Could you perhaps tell me the dimensions on the wltoys battery? And you didn't need to shave the lip on that plastic strap? Thanks bud

The stock 2s out of the wltoys 104001
@@garysrcchannel5251 thank u👍👍

can you charge the stock batteries using other charger instead of the usb charger it comes with?
Yes but you need a two cell balance lead extension I made one have an old battery balance lead and balance charger lead
you lost me there buddy😅..
you mean the small white female/male ports, rrright?
You need the male and female side of a two cell battery balance lead adapter
