Legend! Put it off for 2 years because I knew it would be a pain to cut it off, got it off in 3 seconds with this trick! I used a towing wrench and it took no effort at all!
Don’t need to worry about removing rubber or anything. I locked up my hitch and lost key and I was like how am I gonna get this thing off. Walked in garage and grabbed a big breaker bar and put end under locking collar and just quickly slammed pry bar into hitch making end pop collar off with minimal effort. Some people are saying thanks for letting the thieves know. It didn’t take that many brain cells to realize how easy it would be to pop mine off. And if they are stealing hitches they knew before you did.
After the lock was removed, the bar was bent enough that it wouldn't have passed through the hole to be removed. Jump cut to after he sawed that bend off and now the bar comes out. Nice try!

Masterlock is garbage. I bought that same lock and could get it unlocked after a few months and had to cut it off...
