Yes, but, correct me if I'm wrong, I understood that when the sixth season was confirmed the scriptwriters said that they did not modify their plans at all because the ending they had was what they wanted. That is to say that if the confirmation of the other season did not come out, this was the definitive end. In my opinion, I don't know if anyone will agree with me, this is a shitty ending. Gods fight with the goddess was about saving humans . Lucifer was always gods favorite son.sending him down to hell to rule a kingdom for practice . Creating Chloe as the only human who can see him for he really is was a test to see if lucifer can tolerate and care for the humans as god did. God knew all along what Michael was up to but being god he just wanted them to come together . In 5b god realize his biggest mistake was making lucifer feel like he was unloved after casting him down to hell. So god announcing his retirement plan was to leave everybody because he’s realize although he loves them when he’s around he causes more hurt to lucifer so all this time he just wanted lucifer to become his own man and make his own choices not having to wonder if it was gods plan that was the lesson god was trying to convey . So when god said that he’ll let them choose his successor he already choose his successor in lucifer but for lucifer to get gods powers transferred to him he has to unlock his true feelings and stop hiding behind his shell that he has where he think it’s gods plan etc. so when he willingly went back to heaven knowing he would die just to save Chloe and finally telling Chloe he loves and displayed true emotions to protect humans especially after Dan’s death that’s when he got gods power and became god
Ehhh I liked it but covid restrictions kind of ruined what could've been a more epic scene. Maze leading an army of demons instead of the street gang she mustered up lmao. It didn't make sense that she brought a handful of demons to fight angels that out numbered them.

@GerZ VcmpI understand your point, but this isn't about my current situation or my religious status. This is not because of the how the writers portray Lucifer to be either. I watched Lucifer because it's a fun show. It doesn't takes away from what I believe. We have to make decisions everyday and everyday we are face with choices. In this season, a quote was mentioned that stuck with me. " YOU HAVE TO RISK FALLING IF YOU WANT TO FLY ". That is why I mentioned choices.
Not really surprised Chloe beat him. Lucifer already proved he can whoop his ass in a fair fight and then there’s the fact that Michael tortured her all season.
You're not surprised she could beat him up for two reasons: 1) Lucifer had already weakened him. 2) She was using Amenadiel's necklace, which gave her angel-level strength
@@AGuyNamedRobin I'm disappointed man..Micheal is a celestial being and right hand man of the God and he is a warrior with millennia years experience... How can he beaten simply by chloe with help of Amanedial's necklace's superhuman strength...oh come on wtf And more importantly I thought the fight would be like God level...but it's more like human level Anime watchers can understand what I'm saying
His last words are hysterical: Not "Oh Dad" but "Oh my me..." Also, love the fact it was Amenadiel who took the knee of his own free will FIRST. The only one who could have caused or done all of this is the Old Man himself, God. Guess he made his choice about his successor...
This Ending, with the Sun painting over his head and the Flaming Sword holded by his hand, really express the full meaning of his name, The Ligh Bringer
I think the first thing Lucifer needs to do as the new god is give himself a magic phone that has cell reception whether he is in heaven or hell. He shouldn't be ghosting Ella like that.
from what I heave read its going to be in nexflix xmas Marketing slot. So Id expect it then. Some promo images were leaked of Lucifer in an xmas hat from an add.
The stance that he took when he bent the knee reminded me of how Samurai were taught to face defeat(death before dishonor), where if you fought and lost, you were expected to either commit suicide, or let your opponent decapitate you. There was no 'prisoner of war' option. A true warrior lived by the 'with this shield or on it' motto.
Ok I have so many concerns because michael as a character never shown he would accept defeat and has shown that he will do anything to fulfill his goals...it was over rated ending to me and didnt make sense
@@lastboss-rj2eg I thought that about Michael, too. He's a psychopath...an intelligent, manipulative, conniving predator. Mercy and restraint are wonderful in and of themselves, but they have to be weighed against a person's reckoned future pattern of behavior.
@@lastboss-rj2eg The man was facing someone who probably has the power of God now, and one that holds the flaming sword - a weapon that could wipe literally anyone from existence. Of course he would back down. And since Lucifer already has it, if Michael so much as tries to show resistance, the angels will now be against him, since the only thing keeping them in line was Michael threatening them with the sword and now he doesn't have it. Plus, he has been shown to accept setbacks before, only to come back later with a more devious plan. Maybe he's doing it again.
Don’t get me wrong. Every episode this season was amazing in its own regard. I love how God acted so joyful, love this final war. And Dans death really got me right in the feels. But can we at least all agree... that Episode 12 was the best episode of the season if not the entire series? I’d say it was “fucking” amazing.
I love Chloe in this scene. They don't doll her up for her resurrection and when she fights she doesn't turn into black widow because of her new super strength. She knocks the guy down, takes the mount and punches him in the face.
only Lucifer's subordinates kneel down to him, Chloe is not his "subordinate", she is the love of his life, his partner, and when he becomes the new god Chloe would technically become his queen, his goddess, so she does not kneel to him.

It's definitely the best part of the scene. That and him staggering down the stairs to kneel with the others. Couldn't have asked for a better ending for Michael.
I love this ending. Obviously I want more but this is so perfect. And it's just like Lucifer to end it with a joke. I'm gonna be so sad when the journey ends.
Nobody ever fought for Lucifer the way she did. Not just in this scene but think about how many times Lucifer hurt Chloe even though he was trying to protect her. She always fought through it for him. Then he finally does the one thing she has wanted and she loses him in the same moment. The pain of that was portrayed so well by Lauren is mind blowing that she didn't get an award for that.
Plot twist: Chloe actually punched Michael because he called her Detective and only Lucifer is allowed to do that. Also I love how after Lucifer cuts off Michael’s wings he just scolds him like a parent: “No more killing.” lol
Can’t wait for season 6 it will be interesting to see how lucifer takes on his new role and I know he wants to change a lot of stuff but something tells me it won’t be that easy. Also will like to see what Maze does now whether she goes back to hell since she has a girlfriend now. Soo much stuff and what will Chloe do now my guess she’ll probably still be a cop. Soo can’t wait

Oh my me!!! 😂😂😂 He amazed himself. This is a great ending. He didn't kill his brother though he was ruining everything from him. Everyone reunited. Just great ❤️❤️❤️
Season 5 part B had me all up in my feels. Dan's death REALLY hit hard. Which is crazy because I feel like out of the whole cast he is the least appreciated character, but the episode where he died we all felt it. It was sad. Remembering all the moments he shared with all the other characters and being a dad to Trixie and realizing Trixie won't have him around anymore. And when Chloe was holding him as he bled out, holding onto life just so he could warn them about Caleb, and he said he was scared.... HIT SO HARD. IT TOOK EVERYTHING IN ME NOT TO CRY
Oh God, me too...I got hooked on Kevin Alejandro's acting when I watched him on True Blood when he played Lafayette Reynold's boy friend, Jesus. When Chloe had to tell Trixie that Dan didn't make it, and Trixie begged Lucifer to tell her it wasn't true, bc she knew Lucifer didn't lie, and Lucifer couldn't tell her her father wasn't dead...omg. Scarlett's got a future in acting...she had me bawling.
Season 1 - They Met Season 2 - They Developed Season 3 - All about Chloe/ They Cared Season 4 - All about Lucifer/ They Loved Season 5 - They are together Season 6 - They Marry??? Who knows (Well he did put a ring on her finger)
Maybe Lucifer sparing Michael's life was a godly thing to do but I can't help but think that the dude might not actually deserve it. I mean he showed no sign of regret up till now. In fact moments before he bowed down to Lucifer, he was about to kill Chloe twice in the same day. He killed his own SISTER and would take a human's life without a second thought. I'd like to think that Lucy showing him mercy will make him rethink his life choices. Maybe he stands a chance if he starts therapy with Linda. But will he? Or is he biding his time and is only going to cause more problems? Somehow I feel like this is more possible than him actually changing.
the show's moral lesson is that even the worst of the worst have the potential to chance and to be redeemed. Michael is no different i would like to see how they would redeem Michael because season 5 did show us that Michael does have some good in him and i think that no that he has lost his wings he may end up going down a similar storyline that Amenadeil when down which is what his story in the comics was. Michael ended up having a daughter with a human. he might end up getting that life and turning it around.
Those were the best words to say, for an awesome ending...

I was expecting even a kiss from Lucifer with Chloe or a meeting between Lucifer, Chloe, Maze, Eva, Amenadiel and Linda. I mean, it seems like a very bad ending to me. I emphasize again that it is my opinion.
