VW Golf 2013 window regulator part 2

This a part 2 of the window regulator replacement. Just wanted to show you some helpful tips. If you know an easier way to removing those rivets lets know and share it, thanks again.

In aviation what we did for the “buck tails” for the rivets we’d drill out a little more and punch them through the holes. That would work if you can retrieve them or vacuum them out. Great video, thanks!

Its much easier to take part of the weather stripping out, and pull the glass out. Put the dowel(pin) in the glass, and then replace the glass. The regulator bracket will open up for the dowel when you push the glass down.

I have yet to try that, nor have I seen a replacement cable
