  • DIY cleaning products don’t have to be hard, or scary! This dish soap recipe is so easy, and will save you money over the store bought brands.
    Recipe starts at 2:22 🥰
    If you’re a “recipe typed out” type of learner, then here it is!
    You’ll need:
    2 Cups Water
    2 Tbsp. Washing Soda amzn.to/3gnBrKf (Amazon)
    1/2 Cup Dr. Bronners Sal Suds amzn.to/39PpSub (Amazon)
    Essentail Oils are optional
    Lemon- amzn.to/39SRtdM (Amazon)
    Pine- amzn.to/3mTlvlq (Amazon)
    Lemongrass- amzn.to/2JZLLMa (Amazon)
    Eucalyptus- amzn.to/37Mm7mF (Amazon)
    Warm and mix water and washing soda in a pan on the stove until washing soda is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Then add Sal Suds and mix. Mixture will thicken. Add essential oils if you’d like, and pour into a soap bottle. Mixture will thicken over time, shake occasionally.
    Makes about 2.5 cups
    Stainless Steel Funnel- amzn.to/36Rw5nm (Amazon)

    Damn this looks like a good recipe. Unfortunately in my country the half cup of Sal Suds alone would cost over $7, which is twice as much as a whole bottle of dishwashing liquid

    do you have a substitute for sal suds?

    • @TheHappyLifeWithLess
      @TheHappyLifeWithLess  3 года назад +1

      I don’t know of anything specificity but if you were to research it just look for something that doesn’t react to hard or soft water. From what I’ve read it’s the sal suds that get rid of the grease on your dishes. It also keeps them from having a white residue when dry. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.

      @@TheHappyLifeWithLess no worries! Thank you! I would have used sal suds, but they don't sell it in my country.

    Your recipe differs from the lady you linked. You used more sal suds, correct?

    • @TheHappyLifeWithLess
      @TheHappyLifeWithLess  3 года назад +1

      I used the same ratio for all 3 ingredients my recipe was just doubled because my bottle could fit a larger amount of soap. And in her video she used a salt mixture to thicken her soap. I found when I made it I didn’t need that so I left it out.

    Sal was already a dish soap, you just made it a harsh mixture. This is not dish soap.
