I know it's just a game and all but the moment I heard in the trailer the Oratrice will make "The Hydro Archon" die my eyes started watering up, and this cutscene was just the end of that... 3 years I waited for the Hydro Archon herself to be on my team and now she's just not here it feels like grief
If it makes you feel better, you can still play with the hydro archon tho. Furina is technically the hydro archon but she was seperated with her divine form and in origin she is the hydro archon. And if you dont want to accept that, you can play with Neuvillette too, he is the hydro dragon, the hydro sovereign which is more powerful than the archons and Neuvillette got his authority back so he is fully a hydro dragon now and again they were more powerful than archons. So you dont need to be sad about not playing the hydro archon, actually it benefits you more than you think. You have 2 options to play with the hydro archonish characters. First one is Furina, she was the hydro archon but she got seperated by her divine form and the second one is Neuvillette which is totally stronger than the hydro archon.

What if the dancing at the end was actually in honor of the new dragon sovereign as opposed to a more personal reason? Hmm. But Fontaine is my favorite region by far; it was almost like a whole game in of itself, everything so meticulous and profound… 💙

When you think abour Focalors's backstory it does hurt as she never chose to be a humanoid figure or become an Archon and whilst being Archon, she never got to enjoy the beauty of Fontaine's Opera as well as watching over her people due to a prophecy that was forced into her hands. She accended 500 years ago and all of that was focused on the prophecy rather than her people. Despite the prophecy over, she'll never be able to watch Fontaine.
your acting like that you're the only person who is upset over the greater lord rukkhadevata, why do you care if people are upset and crying over focalor's death? im also sad abt the greater lord rukkhadevata's death too. "i dont understand how people r upset over focalor's death " play the story and read the dialouge, maybe you'll understand why. we also knew rukkhadevata for an hour and her cutscene, stop being dramatic about it.
